Our client is looking for a UI/UX Analyst who will work closely with development teams to deliver requirements and designs to our client’s customers using design thinking practices with a focus on human centred design. The UI/UX Analyst will contribute to the launch and redesign of new and existing products that aims to deliver a consistent user experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Selects appropriate techniques and tools to develop user stories and elicit user experience requirements in complex situations.
  • Identifies and describes the design goals for systems, products, services and devices.
  • Identifies the roles of affected stakeholder groups. Resolves potential conflicts between differing user requirements.
  • Specifies measurable criteria for the required usability and accessibility of systems, products, services and devices.
  • Plans and drives user experience design activities.
  • Provides expert advice and guidance to support the adoption of agreed approaches. Determines the approaches to be used to design user experiences.
  • Uses iterative approaches to incorporate user feedback or evaluation rapidly into designs.
  • Ensures appropriate consideration and integration of visual design and branding elements into user experience design.
  • Selects appropriate tools and techniques to evaluate user experiences of systems, products, services or devices.
  • Validates that security, usability and accessibility requirements have been met.
  • Checks operational systems, products, services or devices for changes in usability and accessibility needs.
  • Interprets and presents results of evaluations, prioritises issues and reports on remedial actions. Collates input for future user research.
  • Applies standard methods to support user research initiatives.
  • Engages effectively with users and customer representatives to generate high-quality research.
  • Documents and shares the outcomes of user research.
  • Contributes to research design and analysis tasks under guidance.

Qualifications:

  • Broad design experience, having worked across many sub -disciplines of design and demonstrating
  • proficiency in requirements analysis
  • An outstanding portfolio of work demonstrating strong UI/UX design capabilities across a diverse range of
  • projects, including digital and mobile applications
  • Proven understanding of software development lifecycle and business analysis practices
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse
  • group which could include executives, managers, and subject matter experts
  • Excellent interpersonal skills demonstrating the ability to establish positive relationships quickly
  • Strong analytical skill, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs
  • and translate them into applications and operational requirements.
  • Excellent problem -solving skills plus a high level of attention to detail
  • Experience shaping real -to-world user experiences and delivering tangible products to market, leading
  • creative projects to successful completion
  • Relevant experience in an IT Application development environment
  • Significant experience eliciting and documenting effective business requirements
  • Involvement in projects and working across and within multiple teams
  • Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science , Business Analytics or an aligning field
  • Highly motivated/self-starter
  • Ability to work independently and within a team

Desirable:

  • A background with product prototyping and testing, future visioning, and strategy development
  • Business and/or System Analyst background
  • Exposure to banking/financial system software
  • Experience leading ethnographic research (quantitative and qualitative) divergent exploration and
  • conceptual development
  • A background with product prototyping and testing, future visioning, and strategy development
  • Knowledge of the banking & finance sector

Our client is an iconic Australian organisation currently seeking a Customer Experience Architect to deliver on a multi year program of work.

Your new role will see you leading and supporting the strategic experience vision and execution of the strategy for a key program of work being rolled out nationally. You will be leading discovery of key journeys and features, cross-functional orchestration of experience and delivery, ensuring the initiative meets strategic, financial, and operational objectives. This role will see you driving the customer research to support the optimisation of customer journeys across a range of physical and digital touch points. Ideally you will bring experience from either the logistics, retail or eCommerce sectors to help drive tailored solutions ensuring all customers will enjoy exceptional experience with both product and brand.

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience design, service design, or product design experience, with a focus on logistics, eCommerce, or customer delivery solutions
  • Proven ability to lead and support end-to-end design/experience lifecycles
  • Demonstrated success in leading experience design for large, cross-functional programs with multiple touch points and complex stakeholder environments
  • Strong collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work across functional teams and/ or vendors
  • Expertise in experience design tools (e.g., Figma, Miro) and research platforms (e.g., Askable, UserTesting, Optimal Workshop)
  • Advanced expertise in design methodologies, customer journey mapping, information architecture, and accessibility standards (WCAG)

Our client is offering an initial 6 month contract with the view to extension. Offices are based in Melbourne’s inner suburbs with a requirement to be onsite 3 days per week.
