  • Clearance: TSPV / TSPA / PV Security Clearance (Mandatory)
  • Contract Length: 12 months + 2 × (12-months extensions – Based on the discretion of the Department)

About the Position:

This is a senior UX delivery role focused on uplifting existing enterprise systems within a large-scale Federal Government environment. The work is operational, constraint-led, and used by real users in high-impact contexts. This role suits designers who are comfortable working inside regulated environments and owning outcomes end to end.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and execute user research, usability testing, and discovery across active delivery programs
  • Translate insights into service blueprints, user journeys, wireframes, and interactive prototypes
  • Design within established design systems, accessibility standards, and security constraints
  • Work closely with product owners, business analysts, developers, and SMEs to land designs into production

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong UX delivery experience across enterprise web and mobile platforms
  • Proven ability to run research and make evidence-based design decisions
  • Hands-on experience with Axure RP, Sketch, Adobe XD, or equivalent tools
  • Confidence presenting and defending design rationale to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Technology & Environment:

  • UX and prototyping tools: Axure RP, Sketch, Adobe XD (or comparable platforms)
  • Core artefacts: personas, journey maps, service blueprints, wireframes, prototypes
  • Standards-driven delivery aligned to WCAG accessibility and enterprise design systems
  • Multi-disciplinary delivery teams operating in regulated, security-conscious environments

Important to Know:

  • This is not a graduate, step-up, or training role
  • Designers from unconstrained agency or marketing environments may struggle
  • Accountability for outcomes is expected, not advisory or observational UX

Why Join Our Client?

  • Operate within complex, enterprise-scale environments
  • Opportunity to uplift UX maturity at scale
