Our client is on the lookout for a skilled Salesforce Functional Tester to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for validating Salesforce implementation and ensuring smooth integrations with both in-house and third-party systems. Strong Salesforce knowledge combined with hands-on testing expertise is essential. This is a 6-month contract opportunity

About you?

  • At least 5 years of experience in QA/Testing, including a minimum of 3 years focused specifically on testing Salesforce applications.
  • Strong expertise of various Salesforce Solution, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Lightning interface.
  • Practical experience conducting API testing using tools such as Postman, SOAP, and user interface testing.
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks like Selenium, Provar, TestComplete or similar with be beneficial to the role.
  • Knowledgeable with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitLab
  • Experience working with cloud environments like AWS or Azure will be highly advantageous
  • Highly detail-oriented with the ability to work autonomously or as part of a collaborative team.

Utilities Test Lead

Join a leading Australian Energy Business as their Test Lead. This is a 12 month rolling contract with strong extension opportunities, backed by a large backlog of forecasted project work. In this role, you will be part of a largescale Testing Services team, working alongside a mature project delivery, busienss analysis, development & vendor services teams. This is a CBD location with hybrid work supported.

Key Responsibilities

  • Planning, documenting, and executing functional and technical test cases across energy systems
  • Leading end-to-end system integration testing across platforms such as SAP-ISU, IEE/MTS, UIQ/SIQ
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders across a multi-vendor environment
  • Driving quality outcomes through structured test processes in a primarily waterfall delivery environment

Key Requirements

  • Test leadership experience, specifically in the Energy & Utilities domain
  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies, including Agile, hybrid Agile-Waterfall, and test automation frameworks.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of utility market systems, AEMO transactions or utility billing systems

Test Lead EDW

Opportunity
12-month rolling hourly rate contract in Melbourne with hybrid work from home flexibility (2 in office, 3 from home). This is an exciting opportunity to head up the testing strategy and delivery for a new greenfields project within a larger multi-stream transformation program. You will be leading 2-3 Testers and setting up the testing strategy, plans and operating rhythm for a new EDW. You will be joining the Analytics and Data Division responsible for the EDW and BI/Analytics solutions including new prototypes to deliver insights to drive performance.

Role

  • Develop Test Strategy and Test Planning documents to align with project release plans and delivery methodology
  • Manage the testing information system repository and team access
  • Manage UAT and business user engagement coordinating user testing
  • Identify and plan test activities for the testing resources for the various testing deliverables for the project
  • Plan, monitor, and manage the day-to-day test testing team activities and deliverables
  • Author test summary reports necessary as required and reports on the progress of testing
  • Provide a daily and weekly status report for testing activities
  • Manage and deliver testing activities as per the approved Test Acceptance Plan / Test Plan for the project
  • Coordinate with Application Developers, Business Analysts, Test Analysts, SMEs, 3rd party vendors
  • Facilitate defect triage meetings

Requirements

  • Proof of Australian Citizenship to clear federal background checks
  • At least 10+ years’ experience as a Test Lead or Test Manager, in a large-complex organisations (federal or state government nice to have)
  • Experience driving projects within larger multi-stream programs (presently 12+ streams and growing!)
  • Experience testing EDW and datalakes and analytics solutions with strong SQL skills and ETL (eg Teradata, Snowflake, Power Apps, SAS Viya)
  • End-to-end testing (functional, regression, performance, SIT, UAT)
  • Proven experience building successful relationships across teams and external delivery partners/vendors to effectively manage critical path dependencies and escalations.
  • Extensive experience managing a team of Testers, but also willingness to still be hands on
  • Proven track record managing and leading testing deliverables from developing the testing strategy and plans through to execution, go/no-go decisions and support
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
