The QA Analyst is responsible for the development and quality of the client’s future and existing technology products. This position involves testing web-based applications and back-end microservices, while working with other testing team-members sharing knowledge and experience to help enhance QA competency. This is mostly a manual testing position.

Responsibilities

  • Be a collaborative, active and positive member of the Software Development team who operates in alignment with the clients Values.
  • Requirements analysis, designing detailed test cases, and detailing testing procedures, from requirement specifications.
  • Ability to perform both manual and automation testing within sprints.
  • Ensure all product releases meet or exceed defined quality goals.
  • Work with business analysts, development teams, and internal groups to ensure customer/business requirements are met.
  • Attends design review and user meetings as required.
  • Document test cases, test plans, test results and defects as needed.
  • Performs the executions of the test plan, continually analysing testing efforts for completeness.
  • Performs system integration, functional, volume, user interface and performance testing on modifications and enhancements before production release through manual and automated techniques.
  • Create, maintain, and run automated test scripts.
  • Analyses failure/success of automated scripts and makes modifications as required.
  • Participate in Agile estimations, planning, daily ceremonies and retrospectives to drive continuous improvement in team and personal performance.
