The Role
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Test & Evaluation (T&E) Engineer to support a major federal program delivering complex, mission-critical capability. Working closely with the T&E Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring systems are verified, validated, and delivered to the highest assurance standards, contributing directly to successful program outcomes in a highly collaborative environment.
Your duties will include:
- Coordinating planning, management, and reporting of T&E activities across the program lifecycle
- Supporting developmental, acceptance, operational, and in-service testing activities
- Developing and maintaining V&V and T&E strategies, master plans, and supporting documentation
- Coordinating verification, validation, and risk management activities to ensure program assurance
- Reviewing T&E and V&V artefacts to ensure quality, compliance, and completeness
- Providing expert advice on V&V methodologies, frameworks, and best practice improvements
Skills and Experience we are looking for:
- Strong knowledge of Systems Engineering frameworks and V&V lifecycle application
- Demonstrated experience developing and implementing Systems Engineering plans with a focus on V&V
- Proven experience delivering T&E and V&V activities within complex Defence environments
- Experience providing assurance advice related to certification and system verification
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, technical writing, and communication skills
- Relevant engineering or T&E qualifications
