We are seeking an experienced Automation Tester with strong .NET expertise to join a large federal government program of work. This role is focused on enhancing existing automation frameworks, uplifting API testing capabilities, and supporting the migration of UI test suites to modern platforms.

You’ll work across UI and API automation, contributing directly to the delivery of high-quality digital services that impact millions of Australians.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and enhance existing .NET Selenium-based UI automation frameworks.

The role

We are seeking a passionate, experienced Test Lead to join the Office of the CIO (OCIO). The Test Lead will lead and conduct testing activities across Scheme Digital Platforms projects. Working closely with the Test Manager to ensure OCIO test strategy and standards are in place. This role is not hands on testing, but you will be managing a team up to 12 testers with a Salesforce project.
Key duties and responsibilities

  • Manage test delivery with vendors and internal staff to ensure that across projects the delivery remain within scope, schedule, cost, and quality targets as defined with project teams.

The role:
As an APS6 Automation Tester, you will embed effective test automation technologies, practices and execution across a suite of new leading-edge strategic technology solutions being delivered by the Digital Platforms Branch, including cloud hosted platforms, Mobile applications, CRM portals and more. Automated testing of Salesforce solutions will be a core component of your role. Working closely with the Test Manager, the Automation Tester will work within a Scrum team to establish and integrate test automation within the Scrum workflow and build processes. You have an integral role in the team, driving quality and efficiency. Your duties will include:

  • Implement automation frameworks, ensuring usability, effectiveness, efficiency and maintainability are met
  • Ensuring that frameworks support backend and UI components, with a particular emphasis on Accessibility

  • Experience building and executing automated test regimes as part of a DevOps team using CI/CD methodologies
  • Experience using continuous integration tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, and building automation test pipelines
  • Strong experience testing REST API using Postman, testing Salesforce and MuleSoft based solutions, and writing automation scripts for REST API tests

We are seeking an experienced Senior Test Analyst to join a high-performing team within a Federal Government department, supporting critical systems.

In this role, you’ll work closely with project teams and technical leads to plan and execute test strategies across a range of cloud-based and on-premise applications. You will help ensure that testing frameworks are robust, repeatable, and aligned with modern delivery practices, including CI/CD and DevOps approaches.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and lead testing activities across all development phases.
  • Provide expert guidance on testing methodologies and tools.
  • Design, maintain and execute test cases using tools such as Azure DevOps.
  • Test both COTS and Bespoke solutions, including REST/SOAP web services and web applications.
  • Assess risks, identify improvements, and contribute to test policy development.
  • Collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Essential Criteria:

  • ISTQB Foundation (or higher) certification.
  • At least 8 years’ experience in testing roles.
  • Strong background in both Commercial Off-The-Shelf and custom-built systems.
  • Hands-on experience with test planning, execution, and defect management tools – especially Azure DevOps.
  • Proven ability to deliver QA functions in a cost-effective and resource-efficient manner.
  • Experience testing REST APIs, SOAP services, and web-based applications.

Desirable:

  • Experience working with Cloud-based applications, CI/CD pipelines, and on-premise environments.
