We are seeking an experienced Test Analyst to support the delivery and enhancement of technology solutions incorporating Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) within a complex enterprise environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability and accuracy of AI-driven applications, with a strong focus on model validation, SAP integration and end-to-end system testing. Working closely with technical teams and business stakeholders, you will help ensure solutions meet business requirements and integrate effectively with existing systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and execute test plans, test cases and scripts for AI/ML applications.
• Test and validate Machine Learning models, including the accuracy and reliability of outputs.
• Perform functional, integration, regression and end-to-end testing across enterprise systems.
• Validate SAP integrations, data flows and system interfaces to ensure data integrity and consistency.
• Identify, document, track and manage defects, collaborating with relevant teams to support timely resolution.
• Work closely with developers, data specialists and business stakeholders to ensure testing coverage and quality standards are met.
• Contribute to continuous improvements in testing practices and quality assurance processes.

Skills & Experience

• Demonstrated experience as a Test Analyst in complex enterprise environments.
• Experience testing AI, Machine Learning or data-driven applications.
• Strong SAP testing expertise, particularly in functional and integration testing.
• Solid understanding of data validation, testing methodologies and defect management.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Proven ability to collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Experience within mining, resources or heavy industry environments will be highly regarded.
• Previous involvement in large-scale technology, digital or operational initiatives will be advantageous.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Test Analyst to support application modernisation and ongoing technology releases within a major WA public sector organisation.

Working across systems that support frontline policing and custodial operations, you will help ensure application changes are reliable, accurate and ready for operational use. The work spans cloud-hosted applications, web and desktop systems, APIs and Oracle-based platforms.

About the role

You will take ownership of testing from initial planning through to release, working closely with developers, business representatives and project teams. Assignments may include improvements to a custodial management application, quarterly application releases and a potential external agency referral solution.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Translate business requirements into test scenarios, coverage and acceptance criteria.
• Prepare and maintain test plans, cases, scripts and supporting test data.
• Conduct functional, integration, API, database, regression, smoke and performance testing.
• Validate data accuracy and the exchange of information between connected systems.
• Investigate defects, document findings and work with developers to confirm fixes.
• Coordinate UAT preparation and support business users throughout testing.
• Develop and maintain automated tests using approved tools and frameworks.
• Report testing progress, risks and results to support release decisions.
• Maintain clear links between requirements, test coverage, defects and outcomes.

Experience required

• At least five years’ software testing experience, with strong experience working in Agile delivery teams.
• Hands-on capability across application, API/service, database, functional, integration and system testing.
• Experience creating clear, thorough test documentation and reporting.
• A background in supporting or facilitating user acceptance testing.
• Strong analytical skills and a methodical approach to investigating issues.
• The ability to manage competing priorities and testing deadlines.
• Confident communication skills, including the ability to explain risks, provide specialist testing advice and work constructively with business and technical stakeholders.

Highly regarded experience

• Testing critical systems within government, policing, justice, corrections, health or case management environments.
• Microsoft Azure-hosted applications and web and desktop solutions.
• Azure DevOps for test management and defect tracking.
• Oracle-based systems, data validation and migration testing.
• .NET applications, APIs and React or Angular interfaces.
• Test automation and security testing

• Daily rates negotiable depending on experience, expecting approx. $600 to $800 range

The QA Analyst is responsible for the quality of the client’s future and existing technology products. This position will involve testing of specialised high-performance Win32 desktop applications, as well as modern web-based applications, back-end microservices and APIs. This is role requires automation and manual testing skills.

Responsibilities

• Requirements analysis, designing detailed test cases, and detailing testing procedures, from requirement specifications
• Ability to perform both manual and automation testing within sprints
• Assisting with migration of testing suite to TestComplete, and developing new scripts/frameworks with VB Script
• Ensure all product releases meet or exceed defined quality goals
• Work with business analysts, development teams, and internal groups to ensure customer/business requirements are met
• Attends design review and user meetings as required
• Document test cases, test plans, test results and defects as needed
• Performs the executions of the test plan, continually analysing testing efforts for completeness
• Performs system integration, functional, volume, user interface and performance testing on modifications and enhancements before production release through manual and automated techniques
• Create, maintain, and run automated test scripts
• Analyses failure/success of automated scripts and makes modifications as required
• Participate in Agile estimations, planning, daily ceremonies and retrospectives to drive continuous improvement in team and personal performance
• Be a collaborative, active and positive member of the Software Development team who operates in alignment with the clients Values

• Ability to conduct functional testing, regression testing, system-level integration testing, end-to end testing and acceptance testing
• Experience in automation testing of the following Tech stack -Java, AWS, Postgres DB, Azure DevOps is a bonus
• Well-developed verbal, listening, comprehension and written communication skills
