As a Senior Test Automation Analyst, you will primarily lead the development and ongoing improvements to test automation capability across mobile, web, API and desktop applications, and assist/mentor testers in the execution of automated test cases.

Experience Required:

  • Must have minimum 5+ years’ experience in Automation Testing
  • Experience implementing automated test plans and strategies
  • Use and administration of test automation tools like Selenium, Appium, Rest Assured etc.
  • Worked on designing and executing test automation scripts for web applications, desktop-based applications and APIs.

About the Role

Our client, a leading IT consulting firm based in Sydney, is seeking an experienced Test Engineer (Calypso) to join their team. This role will focus on functional, regression, and integration testing for BAU enhancements and fixes across Calypso and related systems in a dynamic capital markets environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform functional, regression, and integration testing for Calypso BAU changes.

  • Validate trade lifecycle workflows across Front Office, Risk, and Back Office systems.

  • Test trade affirmation/confirmation flows via Markitwire.

  • Contribute to automation using Calypso Automated Testing Tool (CATT).

  • Develop and maintain test cases, scripts, and regression packs.

  • Perform SQL-based data validation and reconciliation.

  • Collaborate with developers, BAs, and support teams to troubleshoot issues.

  • Provide UAT support and document test outcomes.


What We’re Looking For

8 to 12 years of testing experience in capital markets or financial services
✅ Strong hands-on knowledge of Calypso and trade lifecycle workflows

Test Data Manager

Our client is an iconic Australian organisation currently seeking a Test Data Manager to join immediately and deliver project work between now and the end of the year.

Your new role will see you working closely with Environment Manager to ensure test data quality is locked in before the shut down period. You will be responsible for updating and creating scripts, writing documentation to track changes and ensuring process is adhered to. This role will require you to have a good understanding of the data landscape and demonstrate excellent attention to detail. Due to the nature of the work, some deliverables will need to be delivered outside of core business hours or on weekends.

Skills and Experience:

  • Hands on experience in Test Data Management
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, DataStage and Linux
  • Ability to work on call and weekends
  • Infosphere experience is advantageous but not essential
  • Ability to create scripts from scratch

This role requires someone to start in the next 2 weeks and will be an initial 3 month contract. Offices are based in Melbourne’s inner suburbs and requires someone to be on site 3 days per week.
