We’re seeking an experienced Lead Developer to join a large-scale enterprise data and analytics program delivering cloud-native solutions and integration services across a complex technology environment.

This role will suit a senior technical leader with deep expertise across Microsoft technologies, Azure integration services and modern software engineering practices. You’ll be responsible for leading development activities, driving technical direction and supporting the ongoing evolution of a critical enterprise platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development and support of enterprise-grade applications and integration services.
  • Provide technical leadership across development, deployment and operational support activities.
  • Drive delivery within an Agile product-focused environment.
  • Develop and maintain APIs, integration services and cloud-native solutions.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers and business stakeholders to deliver scalable and secure solutions.
  • Champion engineering best practices including automation, testing, CI/CD and DevSecOps.
  • Support platform reliability, performance, availability and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in planning, estimation and technical design activities.

Technical Experience Required

  • Extensive experience developing enterprise applications using .NET, .NET Core and C#.
  • Strong API development experience including REST, SOAP, JSON and XML.
  • Hands-on experience designing and supporting Azure integration solutions including:
    • Azure API Management (APIM)
    • Logic Apps
    • Service Bus
    • Storage Queues
    • Azure Web APIs
  • Strong SQL and NoSQL database experience.
  • Experience implementing automated testing including unit, integration and end-to-end testing.
  • Knowledge of modern authentication and security frameworks.
  • Experience working with containers, serverless technologies and cloud-native architectures.
  • Strong CI/CD pipeline experience within Azure DevOps or similar environments.
  • Experience with GitHub, JIRA and Confluence.

Ideal Background

  • Lead Developer, Technical Lead or Senior Developer experience within enterprise environments.

This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for developing and executing the overall testing strategy, ensuring quality outcomes across multiple delivery streams, and providing confidence that solutions are fit-for-purpose before release.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the end-to-end Test Strategy, ensuring alignment with program objectives, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Lead and coordinate all testing activities including test planning, execution, defect management, environment readiness, and release assurance.
  • Establish and maintain testing governance, reporting frameworks, KPIs, and quality metrics to provide transparency across the program.
