As the V&V Test Manager you will provide direct support to the Chief Systems Engineer and lead the Verification and Validation team responsible for establishing and managing a enterprise Network Service for a well known defence program. You will be accountable for the planning, execution, and oversight of system?level verification and validation activities, ensuring that all testing, integration, and readiness processes are conducted in accordance with approved plans, procedures, and regulatory requirements. The position also manages the Integration and Test environments and serves as the primary point of contact for all system integration and test matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the development of System?Level Test Plans, System Test Procedures, and associated test documentation.
  • Undertake and supervise system test activities across multiple subsystems.
  • Lead internal and external Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs) and product end?item data package reviews.
  • Plan and coordinate laboratory resources to ensure availability of test environments for development and execution.
  • Manage test environments, including requirements identification and adherence to formal configuration management processes.
  • Act as the single point of contact for the Chief Systems Engineer on all system integration and test matters.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Communications Engineering, or a related technical discipline with a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience; or a Graduate Degree with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong grasp across all phases of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for large?scale electronic system deployments.
  • Experience with large networked systems, voice communication systems, radios, and telephony (VoIP, analogue, or digital) would be ideal
  • Well versed in the Systems Engineering (V Model) and verification life cycle
