The Java EE System Administrator will be:

  • Responsible for the installation, upgrading, and control of systems for IT services and products including J2EE application servers, such as WebSphere Application Server, WebLogic Application Server and Linux operating systems, such as Suse Linux, Red Hat.
  • Support the release and deployment of new JavaEE applications over the software development lifecycle and through support for the developer, testing and Production environments.
  • MuleSoft API Administration.
  • Ensure that the systems are managed to agreed levels of service and data integrity.
  • Ensure that system performance is monitored and reviewed.
  • Provide technical expertise to enable the correct application of operational procedures.
  • Provide appropriate information to specialists, users and managers.

The role:
We are undertaking a major program of work involving multiple projects spanning several current industry-leading technologies, including Salesforce as a core component. The Technology Services Division seeks an experienced Salesforce Administrator to join our dynamic fast-paced team. The position reports to Environment Manager EL1 of Scheme Platforms Environment & Release.

Key duties and responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Salesforce environment plans.
  • Execute hands-on critical and complex Salesforce administration tasks to support releases, CI/CD and new projects and environment changes.

3. Experience in Data Loader, Service Cloud and other salesforce tools.
4. Experience of working with cross-functional teams and vendor partners for troubleshooting and incident resolution.
5. Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and quality.
6. Strong documentation and technical skills.
Desirable criteria
1. ITIL Foundation Certification and experience.
