Delivering critical Infrastructure and Applications projects in alignment with the IT strategic roadmap. This role involves gathering and analysing requirements, evaluating design options, and producing comprehensive solution designs. The engineer will configure, implement infrastructure solutions and providing onsite support during go-live.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement Infrastructure solutions aligned with business requirements and technology strategy.
- Provide technical support across Microsoft Server environments, desktop infrastructure, Azure, and Microsoft 365, ensuring high system availability and security of systems.
- Administer endpoint security, patching, and vulnerability remediation.
- Configure and administer SSO, MFA, lifecycle management, and application integrations.
- Provide technical assistance via phone, remote sessions, and in-person desk support for operating systems and business applications.
- Take ownership of incidents and service requests within the IT support queue, ensuring timely resolution in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and performing root cause analysis where required.
- Performing account administration within Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and other business applications.
- Collaborating with IT colleagues to implement updates, patches, and security measures
- Identify and implement automation opportunities using scripting (e.g., PowerShell) to improve operational efficiency and reliability.
- Escalate complex technical issues to senior IT staff or external vendors as required, ensuring timely resolution and documentation.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years’ experience in IT support, system administration or infrastructure management.
- Strong technical expertise in Windows 10/11, Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Azure, Identity and Access management solution and networking fundamentals.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused approach, able to liaise with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and adaptable and eager to learn new technologies, tools, and processes to enhance operational efficiency.
