Our client is an iconic Australian organisation currently seeking an Observability Engineer to join in January and support a range of upcoming project work.

Your new role will see you working with stakeholders internally and externally to define, enhance and build out the businesses monitoring and observability platform. Reporting to the Enterprise Monitoring and Observability Manager, this role will be responsible for the administration, support and maintenance of full stack monitoring solutions using several industry lead technologies including but not limited to Sumo Logic, New Relic and ServiceNow ITOM. With a background in any enterprise monitoring and SRE you will help the business in managing an increase in service demand over the course of the multi year program.

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in enterprise monitoring and analytical capabilities such as: AppDynamics, Newrelic, DataDog and Dyntrace
  • Prior experience with enterprise level infrastructure monitoring and Log Management Platforms such as Sumo Logic and Splunk
  • Scripting experience with Python/JavaScript
  • Experience working as a DevOps Engineer or Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) is ideal but not required

Our client is offering an initial 6 month contract with the view to extension. Offices are based in Melbourne’s inner suburbs with a requirement to be onsite 3 days per week.

The Role:
Our Government client is looking for a System Engineer to assist with Microsoft 365 tenant migrations as part of a large program of work delivering ICT improvements to Victorian Schools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in M365 migration configuration workshops and operational activities
  • Help form a migration plan for each school including developing of solution and workarounds
  • Working closely with the migration lead, technical leads, and school stakeholders to identify M365 environment complexities and dependencies.
  • Provide M365 technical expertise across administration and migration activities.
  • Assist with incident resolution relating to migration, including documenting resolution

Key Required:

  • Strong experience working as a Systems Engineer
  • Strong experience working on Microsoft 365 migrations
  • Technical expertise to provide L3 support for M365
  • Previous Government and/or Education experience would be beneficial

Our client is a government organisation in the south eastern suburbs. They have a great opportunity for an Application Support Analyst for a contract role starting ASAP.

The role
As an Application Support Analyst, you will be responsible for the day-to-day support, administration, and enhancement of Council’s core enterprise systems, with a particular focus on TechnologyOne. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Triage and resolve application incidents, problems, and service requests across CES and P&R modules.
  • Investigate issues, perform root cause analysis, document findings, and apply workarounds or fixes within agreed timeframes.
  • Perform minor configuration updates (roles, permissions, workflows, system settings) under direction of the Application Support Team Lead.
  • Support testing activities including UAT, regression testing, patch validation, environment refresh checks, and release readiness.
  • Work collaboratively with business teams, SMEs and vendors to resolve issues, clarify requirements, and support stable operations.
  • Assist in knowledge creation: troubleshooting guides, KB articles, run sheets, procedural documentation.
  • Monitor system performance and proactively escalate risks or recurring issues.
  • Support delivery of enhancements for Property & Rating system.
  • Follow ITIL-aligned processes for change management, incident management, and problem control.
  • Provide high-quality customer service to internal stakeholders and ensure clear communication throughout issue resolution.

About you
To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:

  • Experience in enterprise application support (Level 2 or similar)
  • Exposure to TechnologyOne CiA (CES modules preferred; P&R highly desirable)
  • Basic SQL skills for investigation and reporting
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting capability
  • Ability to interpret system behaviour and identify configuration or data-related issues
  • Ability to communicate technical matters in plain language to business users
  • Experience in testing, defect triage, and working within structured change processes
  • Curiosity to learn and understand complex systems
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to team outcomes
  • Local Government or regulated industry background
  • Understanding of integration concepts (APIs, ETLs, Logic Apps)
  • Experience supporting finance, procurement, assets, or property systems
