Cloud Support Engineer – AWS (NV1)

Location: Melbourne or Canberra
Onsite: 5 days per week
Clearance: NV1 (mandatory)

We are seeking an AWS Cloud Support Engineer to support a large, secure Defence cloud environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Support and maintain a complex AWS environment (BAU services)

  • Resolve incidents and problems across multiple systems

  • Manage requests for change and update knowledge base articles

  • Act as a subject matter expert and meet SLA requirements

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders and project teams

  • Maintain strong security posture and comply with strict access controls

  • Participate in an on-call roster and occasional after-hours work

Skills & Experience:

  • Strong AWS Administration experience

  • Experience in incident management and technical support

  • AWS DevOps experience highly regarded

  • Defence NV1 clearance required

AWS Systems Engineer / Cloud Engineer (NV1) – 2 Roles

Location: Melbourne or Canberra

We are looking for AWS Engineers to support server operations and automation within a Federal Government environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Support AWS server operations, monitoring, patching, and backups

  • Build and maintain Windows and Linux SOEs and dependent applications

  • Provision AWS infrastructure using IaC tools (CloudFormation, Terraform, Packer)

  • Use configuration and scripting tools (Ansible, PowerShell, Bash, Python)

  • Troubleshoot issues and maintain technical documentation

  • Work as part of a team supporting multiple projects

Skills & Experience:

  • Strong AWS technical capability

  • Experience in enterprise or government environments

  • AWS SysOps Administrator or Solutions Architect Associate certification

  • Defence NV1 clearance required
