We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to deliver software and COTS application projects within a large enterprise technology environment.

This role will manage projects from initiation through to delivery and closure within a PRINCE2 governance framework, ensuring successful delivery aligned to agreed scope, schedule, quality and budget baselines.

You will work closely with senior stakeholders, delivery teams and suppliers to coordinate resources and ensure projects are delivered effectively within an Agile delivery environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of IT projects or technical work packages.
  • Plan and coordinate project activities, resources and timelines.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules and reporting.
  • Manage risks, issues, conflicts, change requests and project priorities.
  • Produce and maintain project documentation aligned with governance and organisational standards.
  • Support governance and assurance activities across PRINCE2, Agile and MSP frameworks.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders, project boards and delivery teams.
  • Manage project budgets, financial tracking and resource allocation.
  • Provide leadership and direction to project team members.
  • Deliver timely and accurate reporting on project progress.
  • Ensure project administration complies with internal governance and compliance requirements.

Required Experience

  • PRINCE2 Practitioner certification
  • Proven experience delivering software development or application projects
  • Experience delivering multiple application or COTS implementations
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments

Highly Desirable

  • Experience delivering projects involving cloud or enterprise infrastructure platforms

A leading Financial Services provider is seeking a Senior Network Security Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.

Joining a fast-paced, collaborative team environment, you will be working across a number of project engagements, responsible for the build, configuration and deployment of network security devices within their complex network environment. Their network security fleet of devices include F5 load balance along with Juniper SRX and FortiGate firewalls and you will be expected to possess an advanced expertise across a number of these.

This is a hands-on engineering role which will be 100% focused on projects. You will need to demonstrate advanced knowledge and experience across two of the three network security devices to be considered.

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications and/or relevant vendor certifications
  • Demonstrated network engineering project experience gained within large, complex network environments
  • Proven knowledge and experience configuring, deploying and troubleshooting network security devices with advanced knowledge and experience with Juniper SRX or FortiGate firewalls along with and F5 load balancers (LTM, GTM, APM, ASM)
  • Strong knowledge and experience of routing and switching including BGP, OSPF, VXLAN and VTP
  • Previous experience with IPS tools is highly regarded, as is any experience writing Python scripts or using Ansible
  • Superior troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work independently as required

This is a Sydney-based role which will require you to be in the office at least two days per week with Wednesday as an anchor day in their south-Sydney office.

Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

  • University degree in Computer Science or related
  • Strong hands-on experience in networking technologies including LAN,
  • SD-WAN and Wi-Fi solutions
  • Good understanding of the network security technologies including Palo Alto firewalls and VPN
  • Experience with Voice, Mobile, Data and Satellite connectivity, including design, implementation, and support.
  • Hands-on experience with networking hardware, firmware upgrades and troubleshooting across multiple vendor platforms.
  • Expertise in managing external DNS records and working with DNS solutions such as Cloudflare or similar platforms, ensuring reliable and secure domain resolution.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple project activities of varying complexity, meet deadlines, and perform effectively under pressure.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of resolving complex network and infrastructure issues.

  • Experience with RF planning tools and modelling software.
