They are taking on an exciting projects and looking for a Solution Architect with s hands on Salesforce B2C Commerce to lead with designing and guiding implementation projects from concept to delivery.

Position Summary

This is a newly created position suited to a confident, solution-oriented technical leader who thrives on ownership. You’ll operate as the bridge between clients, internal delivery teams, and overseas developers-translating business needs into well-defined technical solutions, steering projects through complexity, and ensuring the right outcomes are achieved.

You’ll need to be comfortable with ambiguity, direct communication, and problem-solving in high-pressure environments

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end technical design for Salesforce B2C Commerce implementations.
  • Produce clear, architecture documentation for engineering teams.
  • Work closely with clients, delivery leads, and technical stakeholders to scope, validate, and refine solutions.
  • Offer practical, structured recommendations when projects hit roadblocks.
  • Be hands-on in troubleshooting and creating solutions issues across integrated platforms and third parties.
  • Proactively identify risks, gaps, or inefficiencies-take initiative before being asked.
  • Confidently represent the project and defend technical decisions in client conversations when needed.

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven experience delivering Salesforce B2C Commerce solutions in a technical architect or senior development capacity.
  • Background in backend development and strong web architecture knowledge.

We’re currently working with a Federal Government Agency, they are looking to engage a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Campaign Specialist with strong experience executing high-volume email sends, the role will be offered as a full-time 12-month initial term contract. This role operates on a hybrid basis, three days per week on-site with the possibility of being based in either Richmond or Geelong. The rate on offer is up to $60.26 per hour plus super.

Responsibilities:

  • Build, execute and manage digital marketing (SMS and email) campaigns and broader Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) service offering
  • Supporting improvements to the Agency’s SFMC configuration, with a focus on accessibility, performance and impact of direct communications
  • Support baseline evaluations of digital marketing products and support continuous improvements, informed by monitoring and reporting across digital platforms

Required Skills & Specialisms:

  • Tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications or related disciplines are
  • Extensive experience (5 years+) in delivering digital (email) marketing
  • As this role is within the federal government at an APS6 level, all candidates must be Australian Citizens.
  • 2+ years of hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience, including:
    • Design, build, and deployment of multi-channel campaigns (email, SMS) using Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Email Studio.
    • Experience executing high-volume email sends (700k+ recipients) and audience segmentation using filters and data extensions.
    • A/B testing, QA processes (Litmus/Email on Acid), and performance optimisation based on KPIs (open rates, CTR, conversions).
    • Building responsive, accessible email templates and landing pages using WYSIWYG along with basic HTML/CSS knowledge.
    • AMPScript: Implementing dynamic content, personalization, and logic.
  • Experience working within a marketing team to improve and optimise digital marketing (SFMC) service offer and product to customers
  • Demonstrated understanding of and ability to apply CAN-SPAM, GDPR and accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1).
  • Proven capability in:
    • Analytics tools: Datorama, Google Analytics, or native SFMC reporting.
    • Testing tools: Litmus, Email on Acid, or similar.
    • Technical: HTML, CSS and AMPScript.
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist or Admin certification preferred.
  • Experience in regulated industries (e.g., finance, healthcare, retail) with knowledge of:
    • Deliverability management: ISP requirements, sender reputation, blacklist monitoring
