The opportunity

Our client is a community focused federal government agency. They have an exciting opportunity available for a Junior Data & Reporting Analyst to join the Agency’s Case Management Support Team in assisting with:

  • Data collection & analysis
  • Data cleansing
  • Systems Administration

Labour Hire hourly rate spanning an initial 12 months, with the opportunity to extend. APS5 level role paying an hourly rate of $55.24 + Superannuation, to be based out of our client’s Richmond or Geelong location.

On offer is 2 days working from home, with 3 on site, hours expected are an average of 37.5 hours across a 5-day working week.

About the role

The APS5 Case Management Support Officer is a team membership position and is accountable for organising their workflow and making independent decisions relating to an area of responsibility. The position will be required to provide policy advice within an area of specialisation with advice based on policies and legislation.

Responsibilities will include

  • Researching and drafting responses for complaints, Ministerial and other documents as required.
  • Analysing and assessing AAT Applications received by the Agency.
  • Managing the requests for medical and functional assessments.
  • Preparing and filing Tribunal documents as required for AAT Applications received by the AAB within strict time frames.
  • Assessing and responding to risk from processes, including in terms of privacy considerations and priority.

Job Responsibilities:

Award Compliance:

– Ensure timely completion of BOOT requirements for all awards

Qualifications and Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of workforce compliance experience, including a strong grasp of EEO, affirmative action, employee classification, and wage and hour laws.

Program Management: Proven experience in developing, implementing, and overseeing compliance programs.

Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.

Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders effectively.

Collaboration: Capability to work collaboratively with HR and legal teams.
