About the Role

In this role, you will lead the design, development, and delivery of critical AI/ML platform components supporting enterprise-wide machine learning initiatives. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the architecture and development of AI/ML platform components including model training environments, feature stores, model registries, deployment pipelines, and monitoring frameworks.
  • Manage end-to-end delivery of platform enhancements, ensuring scalability, reliability, and high performance across all ML workloads.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with technical and non-technical stakeholders to gather requirements and enable seamless delivery of AI/ML solutions.
  • Implement and champion best practices in MLOps, including model versioning, lifecycle management, CI/CD, observability, and platform security.

  • Oversee platform reliability, incident response, operational support, and capacity planning to maintain enterprise-grade availability.

Role Summary:

Role Overview

The EL1 Data Engineer is a senior member of the data warehouse project team, responsible for end-to-end delivery of new data pipelines, reviewing and approving data models, providing technical guidance to developers, and maintaining high-quality documentation. The role requires hands-on technical delivery, leadership, and knowledge transfer to support the project stream and broader data platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership through design reviews, best-practice guidance, and technical workshops.

  • Refine and enhance the data delivery framework, improving integration of new data sources, performance, and efficiency.

  • Lead the end-to-end technical implementation of new data, including:

    • Data analysis and dictionary creation
