Why this role matters
Public Sector agencies need to innovate. They also need airtight compliance. You’ll be the one showing CIOs, execs, and programme leaders how to clean up, secure and manage their data so they can finally move at the pace they want.
What you’ll own
- Full control of a large Public Sector territory across ~10 key existing government customers.
- End-to-end sales cycle. From creating opportunities to closing new revenue.
- Executive-level engagement that drives platform adoption and long-term value.
- Development and execution of sharp GTM plays aligned to market trends.
- Strong collaboration with SI, VAR and MSP partners to maximise reach and solve customer challenges.
- Growth across a portfolio of existing government customers through renewals, upsell and cross-sell motions.
What you’ll bring
- At least 7 years selling SaaS or cloud solutions.
- Experience working through channel partners.
- Strong pipeline discipline, BD capability and sales process knowledge.
- You know how to sell to execs and how to influence Public Sector buying cycles.
- A results-first mindset backed by urgency, accountability and data-driven decisions.
- Significant experience selling into NZ Government.
- A track record inside the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
