The Client & Role:
We’re currently working with a Federal Government Agency, they are looking to engage a Digital Marketing Lead with strong experience utilising Salesforce Marketing Cloud for a full-time 12-month initial term contract. This role operates on a hybrid basis, three days per week on-site with the possibility of being based in either Richmond or Geelong. The rate on offer is up to $602.55 per hour plus super.
Responsibilities:
- Leading planning and delivery of high-profile digital marketing (SMS and email) campaigns aligned to Agency priorities
- Leading planning and delivery of the Agency’s 4 x subscriber-based newsletters
- Leading a program of work to optimise and improve the agency’s digital marketing products with a focus on accessibility and impact of direct communications
- Lead baseline evaluations of digital marketing products and support continuous improvements, informed by monitoring and reporting across digital platforms
- Planning and delivering high-profile email campaigns to support expansion of the digital marketing product offer, retain IP warmth, and support increased understanding of Scheme reform and broader behaviour change campaigns
- Work with colleagues across the Division to coordinate marketing communications across various channels, ensuring audiences are segmented appropriately and messaging targeted to audiences at the right time, on the right channel
- Leading and managing significant procurement and supplier contracts
- Improving processes, practices and governance
- Coach and develop team capability in digital marketing communications strategy and delivery
- Look for opportunities to build consistency and quality across Agency digital marketing products
- Expanding the team scope and service offer in line with platform expansion.
- Defining staff roles, performance expectations and conducting performance appraisals as required.
Required Skills & Specialisms:
- Tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications or related disciplines are preferred.
- Extensive experience (10 years+) in delivering digital (email) marketing
- Experience managing complex audience segmentation and targeted marketing communications
- Provide strategic direction and expertise on email marketing campaigns
- Demonstrated experience deploying digital marketing campaigns through Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) email studio
- Strong communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to deliver strategic program of work aligned to Agency priorities
- Ability to lead and deliver projects with competing priorities and deadlines
- Ability to implement change and manage ambiguity in the workplace
- Working with a level of independence, under broad direction, to resolve issues and deliver quality outcomes.
- Communicate well and make decisions based on professional judgment, evaluating risks.
- Plan and monitor work processes, direct and coordinate quality assurance practices and set performance indicators.
- Cultivating a positive team culture and build team capability through coaching, providing performance feedback, conflict resolution and encouraging career development.
