The opportunity
Our client is a community focused federal government agency. They have an exciting opportunity available for multiple Participant Support Officers to join National Delivery Division Branch in assisting with front-line service delivery.

Labour Hire hourly rate contract until 31/12/2024 with the opportunity to extend. APS3 level role paying an hourly rate of $37.36 per hour + Superannuation, to be based out of our client’s Werribee location.

About the role:
The APS3 Participant Support Officer is a team membership position and is responsible for setting priorities and managing work flow for their role and producing work that is subject to regular monitoring by more senior positions within their management structure.

The position will undertake procedural, clerical, administrative support and operational tasks including some basic research and analysis activities.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and resolving participant matters by actioning planning tasks as per the NDIS Act.
  • Providing counter/reception support for the local office including participant enquiries in the self-help kiosks and NDIA online support.
  • Resolving customer enquiries, providing information and/or referring customers to appropriate government or community services.
  • Managing the team shared email inbox, appointments and telephone enquiries.
  • Coordinating appointments with the use of Agency office facilities and ensuring facilities are accessible for participants.
  • Undertaking research and investigation activities and preparing associated reports and correspondence.
  • Undertaking a range of data entry activities and ensuring follow up is completed.
  • Receiving and recording complaints and other feedback in the NDIA Business systems.

The Role:

This Government Department is seeking a Security Architect to support the development of the security architecture and framework for Google and Microsoft projects.

The Responsibilities:

  • Support the development of architecture and portfolio capability, future strategies and security roadmaps, including articulating options, and facilitate adoption of security roadmaps to executive stakeholders.
  • Work with the Security, IT services, and departmental teams to assess, design and document appropriate security controls for a variety of significant ICT/digital applications.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Minimum 7 years experience delivering medium to large scale projects as a Security Architect.

  • Prior experience working on a Google Workspace migration or Microsoft infrastructure project would be desirable.

You will be required to support and contribute to the protection of the client’s systems, information, and environment with a focus on enabling delivery of cyber security projects and programs. You will lead and mentor a small team of cyber security and compliance professionals conducting risk and compliance assessments of internal and external connections to clients’ systems. Substantial engagement with both external and internal stakeholders is required.

This contract is for 6 months initially. The client offers a 7.5-hour day capped at 230 working days thus this is a good long-term package. The role is based in Richmond or Geelong in Victoria.

The role involves key responsibilities including:

  • Leading and conducting risk assessments of client’s systems.

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Cyber Governance, Risk & Compliance, or a related field of cyber security
  • Must hold Australian Citizenship and be willing to undergo Security Vetting processes.
  • Experience assessing or designing on-premise, cloud hosted and hybrid solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience in dealing with technical and non-technical business teams in a Cyber GRC engagement context.
