We are seeking a number of suitably experiences database administrators to join a team tasked with the successful upgrade and optimization of physical and virtual on-premise servers for a number of high priority ICT projects. The engagement may require you to work concurrently on multiple projects across the larger program.

The Role

We are seeking individuals with either strong SQL OR Oracle skills / combination of both.

SQL DBA skills:

  • Database administration of SQL Server 2012-2022
  • Extensive experience migrating between SQL 2012,SQL2016,SQL 2019.
  • Proficiency in AlwaysOn configuration, troubleshooting, SQL Server and cluster level.
  • Performance tuning – infrastructure and SQL engine.
  • Highly desired skills: SSRS, SQL Server replication (replication is required only for Corporate DW migration, if project will look on it, then this skill becomes mandatory at high level of proficiency).
  • Understanding ETL processes and SSIS.
  • Desired Powershell skills

Oracle DBA skills:

  • DB support versions 11g-19c
  • Extensive experience in database upgrade.
  • Must have skill – DataGuard.
  • APEX – highly desirable (but not mandatory, this is just part of the database).
  • Performance tuning.
  • Proficiency in migration work.
  • AWS/Azure cloud experience working with Oracle DB is highly desirable.

Position Purpose:

We are currently looking for a Data Engineer for a permanent opportunity with a large mining technology client currently embarking on an extensive program to develop and deploy a software-as-a-service data and analytics solution for one of the leading mobile mining equipment manufacturers in the APAC region.

This permanent opportunity is based in Eight Miles Plains, Brisbane and offers 2 days WFH per week. You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand their goals and determine how the available data can be used to achieve those goals.   • Initial 12 month daily rate contract paying up to $1033 inc super

  • Experience with HR/Workforce Management/Rostering projects required

About the role:
Our client is a leading commercial organisation dedicated to innovation and excellence in the tourism industry. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to work across a Rostering / Workforce Management project.

Responsibilities & Outcomes:

  • Document and manage project risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies.
  • Identify, secure and manage all required or allocated project resources to agreed outcomes.
  • Manage approved funds and ensure monthly financial forecasts, quarterly resource forecasts and annual budgets are accurate.
  • Manage contracts with external suppliers.
  • Prepare and report on variations to project time, cost quality and scope.
  • Facilitate, manage and report to relevant project governance forums including steering committees and working groups.
  • Work effectively with Project Sponsor, Project Client, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and other project stakeholders to deliver agreed outcomes and meet overall project objectives.
  • Manage stakeholder involvement and expectations.
  • Successful delivery of designated projects, on time, within budget and to agreed outcomes.
  • Ensure information technology change activities are in place to enable the successful deployment of project outcomes.
