We are partnering with a large, enterprise level Queensland born organisation seeking an accomplished Senior Project Manager to lead a significant finance systems transformation.

This is a strategic and delivery-focused role responsible for assessing the organisation’s current finance technology landscape across finance, fraud and claims management. You will help define the future-state vision, develop the go-to-market strategy and lead the selection, implementation and integration of a new finance solution into a broader core platform.

This is not a standard system upgrade. We need someone who has previously delivered a complex finance systems transformation from early discovery and strategic planning through to vendor selection, implementation and integration.

Your responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of the finance systems transformation.

We’re partnering with a leading enterprise organisation to recruit an experienced Engineering Lead – Integration to drive the design and delivery of modern, cloud-native integration solutions.

This is a senior technical leadership role suited to someone who enjoys remaining hands-on while leading a team of engineers delivering high-volume, mission-critical integration services. You’ll play a key role in defining engineering standards, designing scalable integration architectures and mentoring developers across a complex enterprise technology landscape.

The Role

Working within a modern engineering environment, you’ll lead the development of enterprise integration platforms built on AWS, Kubernetes and Kafka while driving engineering excellence across software design, DevOps and cloud-native delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical design and delivery of enterprise integration solutions
  • Design and develop Java Spring Boot microservices and REST APIs
  • Build event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka
  • Develop highly available, scalable services on AWS and Kubernetes (EKS)
  • Translate solution architecture into detailed technical designs
  • Provide hands-on software engineering, code reviews and technical assurance
  • Own CI/CD pipelines, release management and engineering standards
  • Drive automation, platform optimisation and cloud best practices
  • Lead technical troubleshooting and complex Level 3 production support
  • Mentor engineers and promote modern software engineering practices
