Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Design high-level and detailed solution architectures for platform services, integrations, automation, and operational tooling.
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of platform initiatives from requirements gathering through to implementation and operational handover.
  • Collaborate with application, infrastructure, security, and vendor teams to ensure successful platform adoption and integration.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into scalable, secure, and resilient platform solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to project teams and stakeholders.
  • Champion cloud-native design principles, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, and platform engineering best practices.
  • Support integration across enterprise systems, SaaS platforms, identity services, monitoring solutions, and security controls.
  • Manage multiple concurrent initiatives while ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
  • Work closely with vendors, managed service providers, and offshore delivery teams to deliver successful outcomes.

Required Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Proven experience designing and implementing Kubernetes platforms, ideally using Amazon EKS.
  • Strong background delivering enterprise-scale cloud platforms and integrations.
  • Extensive infrastructure architecture experience across:
    • Storage and Backup
    • Server Operating Environments
    • Network Security and Firewalls
    • Cloud Infrastructure and Platform Services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
    • Microsoft Technologies
    • Security Controls and Governance
  • Experience leading technology transformation initiatives and driving adoption of modern engineering practices.
  • Strong hands-on experience with automation technologies and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar).
  • Experience working within multi-vendor environments, including managed service providers and offshore delivery teams.

Desirable

  • Experience with platform engineering practices and developer self-service platforms.
  • Knowledge of cloud security, observability, and enterprise integration patterns.
  • AWS certifications and Kubernetes certifications highly regarded.
