About the role

Our client is seeking a confident and engaging Financial Literacy Facilitator to deliver an established financial capability program to primary and secondary students across Brisbane.
You will help students build practical money-management skills, set financial goals, navigate healthy conversations about money and understand their rights as young employees.
The successful candidate will initially provide additional facilitation support before taking responsibility for an existing facilitator’s school portfolio during a period of parental leave.
This is a flexible casual role averaging approximately 15-20 hours per week during school terms. You must be available for at least three weekdays, although availability across all five school days is strongly preferred.
The work is completed remotely from home and on-site at schools. Workshop days generally fall between 8:30am and 4:00pm, including arrival approximately 30 minutes before the first session and time to complete responsibilities afterwards.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging financial literacy workshops in primary and secondary schools
  • Present structured financial concepts in an age-appropriate and relatable way

Requirements

  • Significant project or portfolio management experience within infrastructure, capital works or another asset-intensive environment
  • Proven experience supporting a capability uplift, improvement, transformation or project enablement function
  • Strong knowledge of project and portfolio methodologies such as PMBOK, PRINCE2, MSP or P3M3
  • Experience developing and implementing project delivery frameworks, methodologies and governance practices
  • Demonstrated ability to design and deliver workshops, training, coaching or capability development initiatives
  • Experience leading change and embedding new ways of working
  • Strong analytical, facilitation, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to translate project management best practice into practical solutions for delivery teams
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders in a complex organisation

Highly regarded

  • Experience within government, transport, utilities, health or a similarly complex delivery environment
  • Qualifications in project management, business, engineering or a related discipline
  • Certifications such as PRINCE2, MSP, P3O or Lean Six Sigma
  • Experience using Power BI, SharePoint, Microsoft Project or Excel for portfolio management and reporting

About the Role

As the Infrastructure Architect, you will provide technical leadership from strategy through to implementation, driving infrastructure uplift initiatives while ensuring solutions are secure, operationally sustainable and aligned with enterprise architecture principles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of an enterprise-wide patch management strategy.
  • Modernise patching capabilities across EUC, Windows Server, SQL Server, Active Directory and core infrastructure.
  • Develop architecture standards, governance and best practices for enterprise patch management.
  • Improve automation and streamline deployment processes to reduce operational overhead and maintenance windows.
  • Partner with cyber security teams to strengthen vulnerability management and security compliance.
  • Provide technical leadership across architecture, engineering and operational teams.
  • Produce architecture documentation, solution designs and implementation roadmaps.
  • Identify technical risks, dependencies and remediation strategies.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders to influence technical direction and support successful project delivery.

Skills & Experience

We’re looking for candidates with strong experience across:

  • Enterprise Infrastructure Architecture within large-scale environments.
  • End User Computing (EUC) and enterprise endpoint management.
  • Windows Server administration and enterprise patch management.
  • Microsoft Active Directory and core infrastructure services.
  • SQL Server administration and maintenance.
  • F5 (BIG-IP or similar) infrastructure.
  • Enterprise patch management tools and best practices.
  • Infrastructure automation (PowerShell highly regarded).
  • Vulnerability management and cyber security remediation.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement across infrastructure, security and operational teams.
