About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute projects to agreed budget, schedule and quality requirements and track and report on the project in accordance with the Project Management Framework.

Talent is recruiting for a Business Analyst with experience working on AI related projects to join our client on an initial 12-month fixed term contract.

About the Role
We are supporting a large-scale generative AI adoption program, this initiative involves the deployment of advanced AI tools, including Microsoft 365 Copilot and a tailored AI assistant.

The Business Analyst (BA) will play a key role in analysis and delivery support across the program. You’ll partner with business leaders, ICT, and vendors to define needs, shape safe AI solutions, and ensure measurable benefits are realised across the system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead discovery for AI-enabled use cases, including current-state mapping and problem statements.
  • Elicit and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements (security, privacy, accessibility, performance).
  • Define acceptance criteria and success measures (e.g., hours saved, adoption, usage).
  • Facilitate options analysis and recommendations aligned to program strategy and ethical commitments.
  • Collaborate with product owners, architects, and engineers to refine user stories and backlogs.
  • Coordinate data readiness and AI content/prompt governance.
  • Identify and manage AI-specific risks (bias, safeguarding, academic integrity, privacy).
  • Support change, training, and communications, as well as pilots and phased rollouts.
  • Plan and execute UAT; coordinate feedback loops with stakeholders.
  • Track and report on benefits realisation to leadership.

About You
Essential skills & experience:

  • Proven track record as a Business Analyst on digital, AI, data, or enterprise platform projects.
  • Strong requirements engineering, process modelling, and facilitation skills.
  • Practical knowledge of Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Copilot, Power Platform, Teams/SharePoint).
  • Experience with UAT planning/execution and benefits measurement.
  • Understanding of data privacy, information security, and responsible/ethical AI.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Desirable:

  • BA certification (IIBA ECBA/CCBA/CBAP or equivalent).
  • Experience with service design, design thinking, or agile delivery.
  • Familiarity with AI prompt/content governance.
  • Experience in large, multi-site organisations and/or education sector.

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will work closely with operational leaders, subject matter experts, and technology teams to understand complex operational requirements and translate them into scalable technology and process solutions.

You’ll play a key role in modernising operational capabilities, improving decision-making, enhancing efficiency, and supporting the delivery of future-state aviation operating models.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with stakeholders across airline operational functions to capture, analyse, and document business requirements.
  • Facilitate workshops to understand operational challenges and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Map current and future-state operational processes across critical airline functions.
  • Support the design and delivery of technology solutions that improve operational performance and resilience.
  • Analyse operational workflows and identify opportunities for optimisation and automation.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure business requirements are translated into effective solutions.
  • Support testing, implementation, and business readiness activities.
  • Develop business analysis artefacts including requirements documentation, process maps, user stories, and impact assessments.

About You

Essential Experience

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst within large-scale transformation or technology delivery programs.
  • Strong requirements gathering, process mapping, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience working across both business and technology teams.
  • Ability to navigate complex operational environments and competing stakeholder priorities.
  • Excellent communication and workshop facilitation capabilities.

Highly Desirable

  • Previous experience within Aviation or Airline Operations environments.
  • Exposure to Flight Operations, Airport Operations, Crew Management, Maintenance, Network Operations, Ground Operations, or Operational Control functions.
  • Experience supporting Operations Technology transformation initiatives.
  • Knowledge of operational process optimisation and operating model design.
  • Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
