About the Role

  • Lead the design, configuration and optimisation of ServiceNow Field Service Management (FSM).
  • Provide subject matter expertise across field service processes including:
    • Work order management
    • Dispatch and scheduling
    • Mobility solutions
    • Asset and inventory management
    • Workforce optimisation
  • Partner with business unit stakeholders (Transport, Telco, Utilities, Defence) to understand operational requirements.
  • Support the development of the target-state architecture and FSM roadmap.
  • Ensure alignment between ServiceNow FSM and broader enterprise systems (Oracle ERP, SAP Financials, SuccessFactors, SEERA, etc.).
  • Drive continuous improvement in field service processes and system utilisation.
  • Provide technical leadership, governance and best practice guidance for ServiceNow FSM.
  • Support integration design and oversee solution delivery where required.
  • Collaborate closely with IT Operations & Delivery under the direction of the GM IT Ops & Delivery.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience implementing and/or optimising ServiceNow Field Service Management (FSM) in large, complex environments.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise field service processes across asset-intensive industries.
  • Experience working within multi-division or federated business structures.
  • Demonstrated ability to define future-state architecture and roadmaps.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Experience working alongside ERP and enterprise systems (Oracle, SAP or similar).

The Opportunity

As a Senior Cloud AWS Engineer, you will provide specialist system support and expert technical leadership across AWS Cloud Infrastructure and DevOps initiatives. You will work across architecture, platform engineering, and secure cloud delivery, helping shape scalable, modern digital services.

This role requires deep AWS expertise and the ability to operate confidently across complex cloud networks and multi-account environments. There may be occasions where work is required outside standard business hours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead advanced AWS Cloud Infrastructure and DevOps services within agreed service levels.
  • Provide architectural leadership, presenting solutions and proposals to stakeholders.
  • Drive DevOps platform engineering practices including workshops, proof of concepts, demonstrations and evaluations.
  • Lead customer onboarding to cloud platforms and research emerging technologies.
  • Develop cost models, solution collateral and strategic recommendations.
  • Mentor and guide technical specialists, identifying risk, improvement opportunities and infrastructure optimisation strategies.
  • Support AWS workload migrations across accounts.
  • Deliver secure, compliant DevOps solutions aligned to enterprise standards.

About You

You are a senior cloud professional with extensive experience in AWS environments and secure enterprise platforms. You bring strong leadership capability, technical depth and the ability to communicate complex architectural concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.

You will demonstrate:

  • Expert-level AWS Cloud Infrastructure and DevOps experience in enterprise, high-security environments.
  • Proven ability to deliver reliable cloud management and enhancement services.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Experience operating within structured organisational processes.
  • Experience migrating AWS workloads between accounts.
  • Experience delivering Digital Identity and API Data Sharing solutions (including financial-grade APIs and Developer Portals).
  • Solid understanding of modern application development (front-end and full stack approaches).

Essential Technical Expertise

  • Design and implementation of AWS cloud-native (Serverless) and container-based solutions.
  • Experience within AWS landing zone accelerators and multi-account architectures.
  • Platform engineering guardrails and shared DevOps environments.
  • Secure DevOps practices and integrated security across CI/CD pipelines.
  • CI/CD tooling including GitHub Actions, AWS CodeDeploy, AWS CodePipeline.
  • Strong AWS administration skills.
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • EKS, ECS, EC2, Fargate
    • Lambda and event-driven services
    • CloudWatch, CloudTrail
    • Load balancing and AWS networking
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS CDK and TypeScript.
  • Strong scripting and automation capability.
