Reporting to senior engineering leadership, you will lead the planning, execution, and governance of Test & Evaluation activities across the system life cycle, working closely with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

  • Leading Test & Evaluation planning, execution, and governance across the system life cycle, exercising Delegated Technical Authority
  • Developing and maintaining high-quality engineering documentation aligned with relevant legislation, policy, and standard
  • Providing expert T&E advice to support technical decisions, risk posture, and performance outcomes
  • Planning, coordinating, and conducting verification and validation activities, analysing complex data to deliver evidence-based insights
  • Engaging with stakeholders to ensure requirement clarity, technical alignment, and integrated delivery
  • Supporting the ongoing development of Test & Evaluation maturity through mentoring and collaboration

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Degree qualifications in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline
  • Experience in complex, safety-critical or regulated engineering environments
  • Proven experience applying structured quality management and risk management frameworks
  • Strong experience across verification, validation, certification, and compliance activities
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical detail into clear, actionable outcomes
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing clear, defensible documentation
  • Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and influence outcomes without formal authority

Essential requirements:

  • Active Positive Vetting (PV) security clearance
  • Experience working within regulated governance and assurance-driven environments
  • Comfortable operating within a multi-party delivery model
