Audio Visual Principal Service Officer

Location: Brisbane, CBD
Contract: 3 months (until 30th June 2026)
Rate: Up to $53.42hr inc. super ($427.36 inc super based on 8 hrs)

About the Role:
The primary objective of an AV technician team is to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of audio-visual equipment and systems across various settings. Their key responsibilities include installing, maintaining, and providing technical support for AV equipment, as well as collaborating with other teams and conducting training sessions for end-users. You will be a member of a specialist service team delivering audio-visual (AV) and in-court technology systems within a broad, multi-disciplinary organisation. You will use your technical skills and audio-visual experience to install AV systems across Queensland while using remote technology to monitor and respond to AV technical issue and alerts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as technical lead and an internal escalation point for VC-related technical issues within the Court AV team.
  • Lead and perform proactive maintenance of VC systems managed by the team
  • Actively participate in the design, commissioning and acceptance of VC service enhancement projects
  • Establish and maintain effective communication and build strong collaborative partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide expert technical advice to supervisor/managers around technical aspects of VC service.
  • Produce and distribute system reports to technical and business stakeholders.
  • Maintain assigned incident, requests, and problem tickets (within ServiceNow), ensuring timely updates and thorough recording of tickets
  • Ensure compliance with CTS incident, request and problem management service management policies, procedures and processes based on the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework
  • Drive continuous service improvement based on own analysis as well as supervisor, team and client feedback

Ideally you will have:

  • Experience supporting sophisticated audio-visual systems in a complex networked environment
  • Experience with the following key technologies will be highly regarded for this position
  • Cisco video conferencing hardware and software
  • AMX control system
  • Biamp and Clearone DSP technology
  • Multipoint Conferencing Units
  • In-depth knowledge of audio gain structure and reinforcement.
  • IT Service Management/ITIL.
  • Electronics
  • Audio Visual Integration industry training

Required:

  • Australian Driver’s License
