  • Agile practices for Microsoft Fabric development, data ingestion pipelines, analytical artefacts, iterative design, and user-facing functionality.

The Project Officer will coordinate ServiceNow tickets with IT teams, prepares ARB/CAB submissions, manages delivery artefacts, and supports the Project Manager in maintaining alignment between Agile workstreams and Waterfall dependency milestones.

Key Responsibilities

  • Aligned Agile/Waterfall delivery schedules, dependency maps, and registers.
  • ARB submissions and CAB change records prepared to enterprise standards.
  • Updated RAID log with clear Agile/Waterfall categorisation.
  • Accurate ServiceNow ticket and Azure DevOps tracking.
  • Weekly project reporting with consolidated view of both methodologies.
  • Stakeholder communications and governance documentation.
  • Environment readiness and operational handover artefacts.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience in hybrid Agile/Waterfall project environments.
  • Strong coordination and follow-up skills across multiple IT and business teams.
  • Practical experience with ServiceNow for IT change, incidents, and service requests/ticketing.
  • Experience supporting Azure cloud and platform delivery.
  • Exposure to Microsoft Fabric or modern data platform components.
  • Proficiency with Azure DevOps (Boards, Work Items, Queries).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Planner (Boards, Tasks, Checklists)
  • Strong SharePoint organisational skills for document management.
  • Understanding of ARB, CAB, and stage-gate governance processes.
  • Excellent communication, documentation skills, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to track dependencies and align Agile Sprints/Sprint Goals with Waterfall milestones.

Desirable

  • Knowledge of Azure cloud environments/landing zones, networking, identity, security, and monitoring.
  • Familiarity with Fabric artefacts (Lakehouse, Warehouse, Pipelines).
  • ITIL Foundation or similar.
  • Exposure to Power BI for project reporting.
