Contract Duration: Until 31st August 2025 (Extension Expected)
Rate: Up to $608/day including Super

About the Role:

A leading consultancy is seeking an experienced Workday Tester to support one of their key enterprise clients in Sydney. The project involves a large-scale implementation and enhancement of the Workday Finance ERP system, with significant custom development across the Accounts Receivable (AR) and Customer Invoicing modules.

You’ll play a crucial role in testing a highly bespoke environment with complex integrations across multiple systems. This is a great opportunity to work on a high-visibility project within a collaborative and agile delivery team.

Project Overview:

The consultancy is delivering end-to-end testing support for a major organisation undergoing a digital finance transformation. The Workday Finance module has been extensively customised, particularly in the Accounts Receivable and invoicing workflows, requiring a specialist who can navigate both core financial processes and complex integrations. The environment involves multiple third-party systems, necessitating strong functional and integration testing skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute manual test scenarios and detailed test cases based on agile user stories.

  • Conduct functional testing of Workday Finance modules, focusing on Accounts Receivable and Customer Invoicing.

  • Validate bespoke configurations and workflows tailored for the client’s finance processes.

  • Test end-to-end system integrations, ensuring seamless data flow across dozens of connected platforms.

  • Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and QA leads to ensure robust test coverage and high-quality outcomes.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience testing Workday Finance ERP, particularly the Accounts Receivable module.

  • Deep understanding of financial workflows, especially around AR and invoicing.

  • Strong experience in manual testing – able to independently derive test cases from requirements or user stories.

  • Solid exposure to integration testing in complex, multi-system environments.

  • Effective communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced delivery team.

Preferred Profile:

  • Candidates with ERP experience in Accounts Receivable testing outside of Workday (e.g., Oracle, SAP) may be considered, but Workday experience is strongly preferred.

Work Arrangement:

  • Hybrid role: 3 days onsite in the Sydney office, with flexible remote options on remaining days.

Be part of a strategic finance transformation for a high-profile client, backed by one of Australia’s top-tier consultancies. Immediate start with high potential for extension.
