Contract Duration: Until 31st August 2025 (Extension Expected)
Rate: Up to $608/day including Super
About the Role:
A leading consultancy is seeking an experienced Workday Tester to support one of their key enterprise clients in Sydney. The project involves a large-scale implementation and enhancement of the Workday Finance ERP system, with significant custom development across the Accounts Receivable (AR) and Customer Invoicing modules.
You’ll play a crucial role in testing a highly bespoke environment with complex integrations across multiple systems. This is a great opportunity to work on a high-visibility project within a collaborative and agile delivery team.
Project Overview:
The consultancy is delivering end-to-end testing support for a major organisation undergoing a digital finance transformation. The Workday Finance module has been extensively customised, particularly in the Accounts Receivable and invoicing workflows, requiring a specialist who can navigate both core financial processes and complex integrations. The environment involves multiple third-party systems, necessitating strong functional and integration testing skills.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute manual test scenarios and detailed test cases based on agile user stories.

Conduct functional testing of Workday Finance modules, focusing on Accounts Receivable and Customer Invoicing.

Validate bespoke configurations and workflows tailored for the client’s finance processes.

Test end-to-end system integrations, ensuring seamless data flow across dozens of connected platforms.

Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and QA leads to ensure robust test coverage and high-quality outcomes.
Required Skills & Experience:

Demonstrated experience testing Workday Finance ERP, particularly the Accounts Receivable module.

Deep understanding of financial workflows, especially around AR and invoicing.

Strong experience in manual testing – able to independently derive test cases from requirements or user stories.

Solid exposure to integration testing in complex, multi-system environments.

Effective communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced delivery team.
Preferred Profile:

Candidates with ERP experience in Accounts Receivable testing outside of Workday (e.g., Oracle, SAP) may be considered, but Workday experience is strongly preferred.
Work Arrangement:

Hybrid role: 3 days onsite in the Sydney office, with flexible remote options on remaining days.
