Windows System Engineer
We’re currently looking for an experienced Systems Engineer (Windows) to join a high-performing technology team supporting large-scale Microsoft environments.
This role focuses on the administration, support, and optimisation of enterprise Microsoft systems, ensuring stability, security, and performance across core platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and maintain Microsoft services including M365, Entra ID, Intune, and Windows Server
- Manage identity and access across Entra ID, Conditional Access, MFA, and Privileged Identity Management
- Provide operational support, including incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
- Maintain and support Intune device management, including Autopilot, configuration profiles, and compliance policies
- Monitor system performance and ensure availability and reliability of core services
- Assist with system upgrades, patching, and ongoing maintenance activities
- Contribute to documentation of systems, processes, and procedures
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to support infrastructure initiatives
Skills & Experience
- Strong experience supporting enterprise Windows environments
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, and Windows Server
- Solid troubleshooting and incident management experience
- Experience working in large, complex infrastructure environments
- Good understanding of identity, access, and endpoint management
- Exposure to PowerShell or scripting (beneficial, not essential)
Nice to Have
- Experience with monitoring tools and system performance tuning
- Understanding of security best practices (patching, hardening, access controls)
- Experience in hybrid or multi-site environments
