Windows Platform Engineer - AWS / Terraform
A leading provider of financial markets technology is seeking a Windows Platform Engineer with advanced Windows Server, AWS and infrastructure automation experience to join their fast-paced team on a permanent basis.
You’ll play a key role in maintaining the reliability, availability and performance of their Windows-based cloud infrastructure. Working across their AWS environment, you’ll leverage Terraform, CI/CD and PowerShell to automate infrastructure delivery, improve observability and support secure, resilient production systems.
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Tertiary qualifications combined with relevant industry certifications
- Proven Windows Systems Engineering, Cloud Engineering, DevOps or SRE experience within complex organisations
- Deep hands-on knowledge of Windows Server, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, PKI/certificates and patching
- Strong AWS cloud infrastructure experience, including Windows workloads hosted on EC2
- Advanced Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform
- CI/CD pipeline experience, ideally using GitLab
- Strong PowerShell scripting and automation capability
- Experience administering SCCM/MECM across patching, application deployment and compliance
- Familiarity with observability tools such as Grafana, Dynatrace, AppDynamics or similar
- Advanced troubleshooting, problem-solving and communication skills

This is a Sydney-based role which will require you to be in their North Sydney office three days per week.
They are offering an attractive salary of approximately $160,000-$170,000 + super for the right candidate.
