Our client is a large values-focused Federal Government Agency delivering accessible digital information and communications to support participants and the broader community.

They are seeking an APS5 Web Services Publisher to support web content publishing, digital accessibility and day-to-day website updates across multiple web assets.

ROLE DETAILS

Location: Richmond VIC / Geelong VIC – Hybrid (2/3 split)

Contract: Initial term until 31st December with high likelihood for extensions

Eligibility: Australian Citizen (mandatory)

Rate: $55.25/hr + Super

ABOUT THE ROLE

You’ll work within the Digital Channels and Marketing team to publish evidence-based web content using Drupal CMS, manage publishing requests through Jira and team inboxes, and help ensure digital content is accessible, useful and aligned to user experience principles.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Publish and maintain content across multiple web assets using Drupal CMS
  • Apply digital accessibility and WCAG standards to ensure content is accessible and user-friendly
  • Review and analyse data to inform content placement, channels and usefulness for end users
  • Manage correspondence, publishing requests and administration through Jira service desk and team inboxes
  • Coordinate competing requests, set priorities and support the smooth running of the Web Services team

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Experience publishing web content using Drupal CMS or similar content management systems
  • Strong understanding of web accessibility, WCAG requirements and user experience principles
  • Ability to manage workflow, competing priorities and publishing deadlines under limited supervision
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interpret and explain policies/procedures to stakeholders
  • Comfortable using Jira/service desk tools, team inboxes and Microsoft Office applications
