Utility Project Manager - Regional Victoria

We are working with a leading utilities organisation to recruit an experienced Project Manager to deliver major power infrastructure projects across regional Victoria. The role focuses on high-value projects within sub-transmission, zone substations, and HV construction, supporting critical developments across the state. This role will require regular travel within regional Victoria including Bendigo, Shepparton, and Albury. The successful candidate can be based in regional Vic or Metro Melbourne if committed to the travel aspect.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of major infrastructure projects
  • Manage internal teams and contractors to achieve safety, time, cost, and quality outcomes
  • Oversee contracts, tenders, and commercial governance
  • Manage project budgets, forecasting, and risk
  • Build strong stakeholder and customer relationships
  • Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and contractual requirements

Key Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering or related discipline-preferably electrical
  • 5+ years’ experience delivering complex utilities or electrical infrastructure projects
  • Strong knowledge of electricity distribution and sub-transmission environments
  • Proven leadership and financial management capability
  • Experience with SAP and project management tools
