Tosca Automation Test Lead (Contract)
Daily Rate: Up to $745 per day (inc. Super)
Location: Sydney-based candidates only (Hybrid – 2 days per week in-office)
Contract Duration: Until 30 January 2026 (Strong potential for extension)
Security Requirement: Australian Citizens only – must be eligible for Baseline clearance

About the Role

An exciting opportunity to join a leading global consulting consultancy as a Tosca Automation Test Lead on a high-profile, enterprise-scale transformation program. This contract role will own the automation testing strategy, lead a team of Tosca specialists, and ensure high-quality delivery across a complex environment.

This is a Sydney-based hybrid role – applicants must currently reside in Sydney and be available to attend the office 2 days per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Tosca automation strategy, framework definition, and delivery

  • Manage a team of Tosca testers; provide technical direction, mentoring, and coaching

  • Execute and manage automated test suites, and track/report defects

  • Ensure thorough test coverage and timely delivery of automation milestones

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, BAs, and QA peers

  • Contribute to code/design reviews, and provide a test automation lens

  • Oversee test data creation, test environment setup, and automation readiness

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in testing processes and tools

  • Support and upskill junior team members on Tosca and automation best practices

Required Skills & Experience

  • Must be Sydney-based and available for 2-day onsite hybrid work

  • Must be an Australian Citizen eligible for Baseline security clearance

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on Tosca automation experience, including model-based testing

  • 5+ years in QA/testing roles with a focus on automation

  • Certified Tricentis Tosca Product Consultant

  • Deep understanding of QA processes, test planning, and defect management

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication abilities

  • Salesforce application testing experience is advantageous
