The Role

We’re partnering with a major enterprise undergoing a large-scale migration to Snowflake as part of a broader cloud data transformation. This role sits within a fast-paced delivery team focused on building and validating a modern data platform, with strong emphasis on accuracy, performance, and reliability.

This is a hands-on Test Lead role where you’ll be actively involved in data validation, working closely with engineers and analysts to ensure data is correct, complete, and fit for purpose across the platform.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be embedded within the delivery team, owning end-to-end testing across Snowflake pipelines. This includes writing and executing SQL-based validations, reconciling data between legacy and target systems, and identifying issues across data ingestion and transformation layers. You’ll contribute directly to test execution, support automation where possible, and work closely with stakeholders to resolve data defects quickly and efficiently.

Must-Have Experience (Snowflake)

  • Hands-on experience testing data solutions built on Snowflake
  • Strong SQL skills for data validation, reconciliation, and root cause analysis
  • Experience validating ETL/ELT pipelines and data transformations
  • Proven experience supporting data migration projects (source to Snowflake)
  • Understanding of Snowflake concepts (staging, COPY INTO, warehouses, performance basics)
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Experience working in fast-paced, delivery-focused environments
