Test and Validation Engineer - CyberSecurity (Defence Project)
- 12 month ongoing contract
- Work on a multi-year CyberSecurity and System integration program

Our client is currently on the lookout for an Test & Verification Specialist to lead the development, execution, and coordination of cybersecurity test procedures for a complex, critical system integration program. This role plays a critical part in ensuring security controls are robust, compliant, and ready for accreditation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, automate, and execute cybersecurity test procedures across integration and test facilities
- Debug procedures on test benches and support formal verification campaigns with IRAP assessors and security stakeholders
- Record and report test results, generate KPI metrics, and raise defects where security gaps are identified
- Collaborate with Sub-System teams to define and verify correction plans
- Plan and coordinate testing activities in alignment with platform readiness and control maturity
- Support integration teams in understanding and implementing security features
- Conduct on-site verification across Australia to demonstrate compliance and readiness for accreditation
Requirements:
- Experience in cybersecurity testing, verification, and defect management
- Strong understanding of security controls, accreditation processes, and IRAP standards
- Excellent coordination and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to work across technical teams and operational environments
- Familiarity with national security or aviation systems is highly desirable
- Must be Australian Citizen
