Test Analyst

We’re seeking an experienced Data Test Analyst to join a high-performing delivery team working on large-scale data initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity for a testing professional with strong SQL and Python capabilities who thrives in complex data environments and is passionate about ensuring data quality, accuracy, and integrity.

The Role

As a Data Test Analyst, you will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive testing strategies across data platforms, pipelines, and transformation processes. Working closely with Data Engineers, Analysts, and Project Stakeholders, you’ll play a key role in validating data quality and ensuring successful delivery outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute end-to-end data testing strategies for enterprise-scale data solutions.
• Validate data pipelines, ETL processes, and data transformations to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Develop and execute complex SQL queries for data validation, reconciliation, and analysis.
• Build Python scripts to automate data testing, validation, and reporting activities.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve data quality issues through detailed root cause analysis.
• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, test execution results, and test summary reports.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers, Business Analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and quality standards.
• Drive stakeholder engagement, coordination, and ownership of testing outcomes.

About You

You are a detail-oriented testing professional with a strong analytical mindset and proven experience delivering quality outcomes in complex data environments.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Data Testing, QA, or related testing roles.
• At least 2 years operating in a Senior Test Analyst capacity.
• Advanced SQL skills, including complex joins, aggregations, data reconciliation, and query optimisation.
• Strong Python scripting experience for test automation and data validation.
• Demonstrated experience testing data pipelines, ETL processes, and large datasets.
• Strong understanding of data testing methodologies, including:
• Reconciliation Testing
• Regression Testing
• Sampling Techniques
• End-to-End Data Validation
