Our client is an ASX listed company within the Infrastructure services sector searching for a Test Analyst with a background in ServiceNow.
The client is based in Melbourne CBD very close to public transport and offers a hybrid work arrangement of three days in the office and two working from home.

This is a contract position with an initial term of 6 months with high likelihood for extension. The role performs both BAU and project testing and is responsible for performing the preparation, planning and execution of functional, technical, security, integration and user acceptance testing. This includes creating, maintaining and executing both manual and automated test scripts to ensure that quality, integrity and effectiveness to meet the business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, execute and follow-up on Test Strategies & Test Plans, and provide relief and support to other testing resources
  • Provide input to the team on how to improve both the efficiency and quality of testing
  • Understand the business requirements and develop both manual and automated test cases (scenarios, scripts, stories, etc.) together with process owners and super users, to ensure all processes, dependencies and variations are captured
  • Understand business objectives for test cases and ensure they are met
  • Work with BAU, project and vendor teams to have the testing pre-requisites such as test environments, configurations/customisations, migrated data, etc ready, prior to executing test cases.
  • Coordinate and follow-up with process owners, super users, end users and other subject matter experts, to ensure that all testing is completed as per the test scenarios developed, within the timeframes specified
  • Provide daily updates of testing progress against plan, call out any deviations from plan and work with the team to get back to plan
  • Manage problems/issues encountered during testing/verification, and resolve them by escalating and following up with the relevant team/s including maintaining an issue register
  • Provide transparency to BAU, project and vendor teams in terms of the progress and measurement of success on achieving business objectives

Experience:

  • 5+ years of test experience, preferably associated with an ERP and Field Services company or project/s, knowledge of SAP, IFS, ServiceNow FSM, Oracle and JIRA Xray is an advantage
  • Preparation and execution of test plans and evaluating success factors
  • Test cases ensuring inputs, outputs, and test steps are documented and reviewed with business testers
  • Quality assurance and change management in an online real-time environment
  • Enterprise Service Bus (Oracle ESB) and AWS testing experience
