About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced TechnologyOne Developer to support and enhance core systems used across government services. In this role, you’ll work on solutions that directly impact the local community-supporting essential functions such as finance, payroll, assets, and customer services.

You’ll collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to deliver reliable, secure, and user-friendly TechnologyOne solutions that enable local government teams to do their best work.

You’ll work closely with stakeholders across the business to deliver and optimise TechnologyOne solutions, ensuring systems are aligned with strategic objectives. Whether you’re coming from a consulting or developer background, this role offers variety, ownership, and long-term progression.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, and support TechnologyOne applications within a local government environment
• Work across Ci and key modules such as Financials, HR & Payroll, Assets, and Property & Rating (as applicable)
• Design and maintain custom forms, workflows, reports, and dashboards
• Build and support system integrations using APIs, web services, and batch processing
• Provide technical input into system upgrades, enhancements, and new module implementations
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, ensuring system reliability and compliance
• Work within governance, security, and audit frameworks common to local government

About You

• Demonstrated experience as a TechnologyOne Developer, ideally in local or state government
• Strong hands-on experience with TechnologyOne Ci development and configuration
• Solid skills in SQL, scripting, XML, and integrations
• Understanding of public sector processes, controls, and reporting requirements
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• A collaborative, service-oriented approach

Desirable Experience

• Experience working within local government or public sector environments
• Exposure to TechnologyOne SaaS / cloud platforms
• Knowledge of council-specific modules (e.g. Property & Rating, Assets, Planning)
• Familiarity with change management and formal governance processes
