Location: Brisbane | 12-Month Contract | Daily Rate Contract

We are seeking a CMS Technical Lead to drive a major digital transformation project for a high-profile public sector platform. This role is pivotal in migrating a large-scale content platform to Squiz DXP and implementing a new, whole-of-government Design System. You’ll combine hands-on technical leadership with strategic oversight to shape a seamless digital experience for Queenslanders.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the migration and enhancement of a Squiz Matrix CMS to Squiz DXP
* Drive the implementation of a modern design system across the digital platform
* Collaborate with stakeholders to define business and user requirements
* Deliver online enhancement projects aligned to digital and customer experience goals
* Oversee technical delivery and ensure high-quality, timely outcomes
* Build and maintain strong relationships with industry vendors and digital partners
* Partner with insight and analytics teams to measure and optimise platform performance
* Promote best practices and mentor team members to support capability uplift

We’re Looking For:
* Proven experience with Squiz Matrix CMS and/or Squiz DXP in complex environments
* Strong background in leading large-scale digital or CMS transformation initiatives
* Solid understanding of user-centered design, accessibility, and modern digital standards
* Ability to translate business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements
* Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills
* Passion for innovation, continuous improvement, and team development
* Experience in agile environments and delivering in fast-paced, multi-stakeholder settings
