This is a 6-month initial contract position to join a national technical support team with members across Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane. Potential to extend or permanency.

Joining the Melbourne team, you will be challenged to provide BOTH phone based AND face-to-face technical support in the CBD office, Clayton and Epping on a weekly basis, monthly travel to Adelaide and Perth, and ad-hoc support at Ringwood, Williamstown, and South Australia.

You will require a full driver’s licence and your own vehicle. ATO mileage allowances to be claimed and any travel related expenses reimbursed via a comprehensive Client travel policy. Sydney based position available with home base in Parramatta and regular onsite support required in Chatswood, Wetherill Park, Rockdale and Northern interstsate region (ACT, Northern NSW etc).

Role
A combination of Level 1/2/3 phone and face-to-face EUC support to staff and contractors across the Southern Region (Vic, SA, WA). You will be supporting applications, laptops, mobile devices, iPads/hand-helds, M365 and Windows 11 SOE hosted on AWS, peripherals (eg printers, scanners), networks, video-conferencing and audio-visual, MS Teams etc.

You’ll be given the tools of the trade and be required in Melbourne CBD office full time with ad-hoc travel to Clayton and Epping per week, with once a month interstate and ad-hoc travel.

At times weekend and work outside hours may be required for new site installations and set-up. Working in a national team (with colleagues in Sydney and Brisbane), you will be on a rotating shift every 2 weeks supporting between 7am and 8pm AEST in a staggered start time (8 hours per day).

You will be engaging with all manner of stakeholders from GM and C’ suite executives to contractors and field engineers in remote sites, so great people skills and customer service ethic is required as well as good technical skills.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4-5 years providing Service Desk and Desktop EUC support (phone based and onsite)
  • Strong Microsoft SCCM, InTune Endpoint Manager, Windows 11, Azure AD, M365 suite, Zscaler, AWS hosted
  • Demonstrated troubleshooting experience and ability to solve problems
  • Knowledge and experience supporting CISCO networks and Palo Alto
  • Ability to travel and juggle phone, email and face-to-face walk-up support to all levels within the organization
  • Strong team-player, ability to operate independently in the field and communicate with your team and managers
  • Strong ITIL Service Management, Problem and Incident Management, JIRA, Sharepoint, ServiceNow ITSM or similar (eg Remedy)
  • Experience supporting similar sized organisations of 1000-2000 + national staff (metro and regional)
  • Any experience in infrastructure, asset management, field service management, utilities, telecommunications, transport, mining, or managed services organisations engaged in these sectors would be highly regarded
  • Access to own vehicle
  • Ability to work on-site full time in Melbourne CBD and travel as needed
