The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager to lead and coordinate the delivery of technical projects that drive critical initiatives. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful execution of projects that are secure, scalable, and aligned with organisational goals. You will work closely with technical teams, business units, and external partners to deliver high-quality outcomes that make a real difference.

Your duties will include:

  • Developing, managing, and implementing project plans and schedules in line with the organisation’s project management framework.
  • Coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between technical and business stakeholders.
  • Managing risks, issues, and dependencies to maintain project momentum and quality.
  • Overseeing project governance and reporting to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Driving the delivery of secure, scalable, and fit-for-purpose technical solutions.
  • Ensuring project deliverables and milestones are met on time and within budget.

Skills and Experience we are looking for:

  • 5+ years of proven experience in delivering technical ICT system projects.
  • Strong knowledge of contemporary project management and governance frameworks.
  • Experience in project management within Federal or State Government environments.
  • Demonstrated expertise in delivering ICT projects using Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable insights for diverse audiences.
