Technical Business Analyst

• Bridge business and technology across complex AWS and Azure cloud initiatives
• 12-month contract + 12-month extension option
• Australian citizenship required | Must be able to obtain Baseline clearance

Take on a hands-on Technical BA role working across complex cloud infrastructure and enterprise technology initiatives, translating business needs into clear technical requirements and helping shape solutions from discovery through to delivery.

You’ll work closely with business and technical stakeholders across requirements, process modelling and solution design, with the opportunity to contribute to how complex cloud-based systems and services are delivered.

The Role

As a Technical Business Analyst, you’ll sit between business and technology teams, helping ensure requirements are clearly understood and translated into practical technical solutions.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Discovering, defining, validating and prioritising complex business and technical requirements
• Translating business needs into clear technical specifications
• Facilitating workshops and leading process mapping, requirements lifecycle and data modelling activities
• Providing input into solution design to ensure technical outcomes align with business requirements
• Supporting documentation and continuous improvement across the systems and solutions delivered by the team

About You

We’re particularly interested in:

• 5+ years’ Technical Business Analysis experience across complex IT projects
• Strong experience working across cloud infrastructure projects
• Experience supporting large, complex AWS and/or Azure native systems
• Strong process mapping, requirements and documentation capability
• Experience with Jira and Confluence in Agile or spec-driven delivery environments
• Experience within large enterprise environments incorporating ITSM practices, including change, incident and service request management

Azure or AWS certifications would be highly regarded, along with experience using generative AI and spec-driven development practices.

Hybrid working is available, with a minimum of three days per week in the office and flexibility for the remaining two days, subject to agreement.
