📍 Parramatta | Contract Opportunity (12 months initially)

We’re seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst to join a major capital works program delivering large-scale infrastructure and technology outcomes across new and refurbished facilities.

This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of construction and technology, supporting the design and delivery of complex IT infrastructure and integrated systems within a built environment.

🔧 About the Role

You will play a key role in bridging business and technical teams, ensuring requirements are clearly defined and translated into practical, scalable solutions across infrastructure and systems integration projects.

Working closely with architects, engineers, vendors, and stakeholders, you’ll contribute across the full project lifecycle – from early design through to testing, commissioning, and handover.

🏗️ Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyse, and document business and technical requirements
  • Translate requirements into clear functional and non-functional specifications
  • Facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagement sessions
  • Collaborate with solution architects, infrastructure teams, and vendors
  • Support solution design, procurement, and delivery activities
  • Maintain requirements traceability across the project lifecycle
  • Assist with testing (SIT/UAT), defect management, and implementation
  • Contribute to operational readiness and handover documentation

💻 What You’ll Be Working On

  • Network infrastructure (structured cabling, LAN/WAN, wireless)
  • Data centre / server environments
  • CCTV, access control, and security systems
  • Audio-visual (AV) and smart building technologies
  • Systems integration across multiple platforms and vendors

✅ About You

  • Proven experience as a Technical or IT Business Analyst
  • Strong background in IT infrastructure, networking, and systems integration
  • Experience working on construction, capital works, or fit-out projects (highly desirable)
  • Ability to work across both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong documentation, analysis, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience supporting full delivery lifecycle (design → build → test → handover)
