We are seeking two experienced Senior Technical Business Analyst to support the design and delivery of high-quality data and analytics solutions within a complex government environment. In this role, you will work closely with policy, operational and technical stakeholders to translate complex requirements into actionable outcomes. You will play a key role in improving business processes, enabling cloud-based analytics platforms, and ensuring solutions align with broader organisational strategies and data-driven decision-making initiatives.

Your duties will include:

  • Document current and future-state business processes using BPMN, flowcharts and structured documentation techniques
  • Analyse workflows and systems to identify integration points with cloud and analytics platforms
  • Conduct gap analysis and translate business needs into clear functional and technical requirements
  • Collaborate with policy, operational and technical stakeholders to support solution design and platform adoption
  • Perform data analysis and interpretation to support reporting, insights and business case development
  • Facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagement activities to ensure alignment and shared understanding

Skills and Experience we are looking for:

  • Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst in data-driven or analytics environments
  • Strong capability in business process modelling (BPMN) and requirements documentation
  • Experience working with cloud and analytics platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Power BI, Tableau or SAS
  • Demonstrated ability to engage stakeholders and translate complex business needs into practical solutions
  • Experience supporting future-state platform design, business cases and organisational change
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills within fast-paced delivery environments
