
Technical Applications Systems Analyst

Our client is looking for a highly skilled (Level 3) Technical Application Systems Analyst to serve as a vital bridge between their Digital Support Team and Technical Engineers. This role will focus on analysing and resolving complex technical issues and implementing system changes.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical capabilities, deep technical knowledge, and excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with cross functional teams. The primary goal will be to maintain system stability, ensure data integrity, and align technical solutions with business processes.
About you:
- 3+ years of experience in technical analyst, application support, or systems integration.
- Expertise in analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices.
- Proven ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in writing SQL queries.
- Hands-on experience with API integrations including (REST/SOAP, Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, XML/JSON).
- Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Experience using system monitoring tools like Sentry, Splunk, ELK Stack, Dynatrace, or AppDynamics.
- Working knowledge of IT service management and ticketing systems (JIRA, ServiceNow).
Desirable Skills:
- Scripting or programming experience with Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
- Understanding of finance and investment management domains.
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools including Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and GitLab CI.
- Cloud experience, Azure, AWS or familiarity with EC2, RDS, App Services, IAM.
- Experience with and knowledge of ITIL 4.
