Tech BA / Change Lead

The Opportunity

Talent’s client is seeking a seasoned Technical Business Analyst / Change Lead to play a pivotal role in a major SAP ERP upgrade. This is a unique opportunity to sit at the intersection of technology, business, and transformation, ensuring the upgrade delivers real, measurable value with minimal disruption.

You’ll lead both deep technical analysis and end-to-end change management, making this ideal for someone who thrives in complex enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end requirements gathering across finance, operations, and integrated systems
• Translate business needs into clear functional and technical specifications
• Assess SAP upgrade impacts across processes, integrations, and custom code (RICEFW)
• Analyse current vs future state, leveraging SAP standard capabilities and simplification items
• Support data migration, integration mapping, and system configuration
• Coordinate and support UAT, including test case development, execution, and defect triage
• Drive change management activities including impact assessments, comms, and training plans
• Facilitate workshops and act as the key bridge between business, SAP teams, and delivery

Key Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience as a Technical BA in SAP environments
• Proven delivery experience across SAP ERP upgrades or S/4HANA transformations
• Strong understanding of SAP custom code (RICEFW), integrations, and data models
• Experience analysing SAP Simplification Items and upgrade impacts
• Hands-on UAT experience (test cases, execution, defect management)
• Demonstrated change management leadership in large-scale transformations
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills

Nice to Have:

• SAP Readiness Check / Custom Code Migration tools
• Agile or hybrid SAP delivery experience
• Exposure to tools like Azure DevOps, Confluence, SAP Solution Manager
• SAP certifications
