Step into a critical role as a Systems Engineer (Robotics Specialist) where you will contribute to the advancement of military capabilities by ensuring robust integration of command, control, communication, and information systems. Your work will facilitate the transition to an Integrated Force, enhancing operational effectiveness through innovative technology and engineering excellence.

Your duties will include:

  • Providing technical oversight for the development and maintenance of digital design models
  • Conducting compliance and gap analysis to assure systems function as intended.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to generate integration advice from initial concept through to sustainment and disposal.
  • Assisting in the development and maintenance of GxA Standards to enhance system interoperability.
  • Identifying and managing project risks, and proposing evidence-based recommendations for resolutions.
  • Engaging with external stakeholders to promote standards and best practices at national and international levels.
  • Generating progress reports and advising on technological risks impacting design objectives.
  • Assuming the role of Technical Lead to synthesize technical views and influence relevant models or standards.

Skills and Experience we are looking for:

  • Proven experience in complex systems engineering and robotics projects.
  • Proficiency in SYSML or similar modelling tools for digital design.
  • Strong analytical skills, particularly in verification and validation processes.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills for engaging with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Defence acquisition processes and military standards.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field; a Master’s degree is desirable.
