Our client is currently on the lookout for a seasoned Network Monitoring Specialist to join a high-performing team responsible for overseeing the health, performance, and reliability of enterprise-grade infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a broad experience across infrastructure (Networks, Linux and Windows Server) and is comfortable in implementing and configuring Networking Monitoring applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain enterprise-grade Network Management Systems (NMS) and IT Service Management (ITSM) platforms
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot solutions such as ServiceNow, Splunk, Riverbed, LogicMonitor, Netbox, Infoblox
  • Integrate monitoring tools to support service ordering, fulfillment, and assurance across a nationwide network
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve issues and enhance system performance
  • Contribute to disaster recovery planning, backup systems, and database configurations
  • Develop implementation documentation and support knowledge transfer across teams
  • Monitor application performance and ensure seamless integration across platforms

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or IT Security
  • Board understanding of Infrastructure -Linux (Red Hat) , Windows server administration and some networking
  • Strong understanding of network monitoring protocols (ICMP, SNMP, NetFlow, Syslog, gRPC)
  • Experience with Fault Management Systems (FMS), Element Management Systems (EMS), and Network Performance Monitoring tools
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, Ansible) and APIs (REST, JSON-RPC)
  • Preferred certifications: Splunk, Cisco CCNA/CCNP, VMware VCP, RedHat RHCSA, Windows MCSA
