Our Client is currently on the lookout for an experienced Systems Engineer with a strong understanding of the communications domain to work on a variety of engineering project. You will provide technical leadership, system engineering input and primarily support activities in the VHF communications domain. In addition, you will also provide engineering support to the UHF and HF communications domain as required.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years’ experience with the application of Systems Engineering processes to unique and complex systems across multiple industries
  • Experience in designing, maintaining and supporting systems in the communications domains (VHF, UHF, HF)
  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering and be eligible for Registration as a Professional Engineer in relevant area of engineering in accordance with relevant legislation – Mandatory
  • Experience with engaging with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Previous experience with the application of aviation Safety Management Systems (desirable)
  • Must be Australian citizen who can obtain a security clearance if needed – Existing clearance is a bonus
