Contract Opportunity – IT Systems Analyst (Federal Government)
Melbourne CBD | Contract until October (with strong extension potential)
We are seeking an experienced IT Systems Analyst to support the design and delivery of critical systems and services.
Baseline Security Clearance is required
The Role
You will be responsible for designing system components and translating business requirements into high-quality technical solutions. Working across the full design lifecycle, you will ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, stakeholder needs, and both functional and non-functional requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design system components using agreed architectures, standards, and methodologies
- Identify and evaluate design options and trade-offs
- Produce multiple design views to address stakeholder concerns
- Develop detailed design specifications for system build and implementation
- Model, simulate, and prototype system behaviour for stakeholder approval
- Review and refine designs to ensure quality and alignment with requirements
Technical Skills
Mainframe: COBOL
Backend: .NET Framework, C#, SQL
Frontend: ASP.NET, API Development, Angular (or React equivalent), TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS
Other: PowerShell, Python
