Systems Analyst

• 12-month contract – possible extension options
• $110 – $115 /hr including super
• Canberra based – hybrid working arrangement
• Must hold minimum NV1 security clearance

About the Role

This role supports a major cyber security program by analysing system needs, translating requirements, and ensuring technical solutions are fit-for-purpose. Your work will directly contribute to strengthening secure system capabilities across a high-profile government environment.

Your duties will include:

• Gathering, analysing and documenting business and technical requirements
• Translating complex cyber or ICT needs into actionable system specifications
• Supporting solution design, system changes and configuration activities
• Preparing high-quality documentation, including process maps and data flows
• Facilitating workshops and working closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Assisting with testing, validation and integration activities to ensure system readiness

Skills and Experience we are looking for:

• NV1 security clearance (mandatory)
• Experience as a Systems Analyst within government or secure ICT environments
• Strong understanding of cyber security principles or exposure to cyber programs
• Proven ability to elicit and document detailed requirements
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work across complex, multi-disciplinary teams with competing priorities
