About the Role:

As a Specialist Bid Tender Writer, you will play a pivotal role in advancing the institute’s Future Skills Growth Strategy. Your focus will be on preparing persuasive and strategically aligned tenders, bids, and funding proposals that reflect the institute’s strategic direction and education priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and refine high-quality proposals, tenders, grants, and funding submissions.
  2. Coordinate end-to-end tender and proposal development, ensuring compliance and consistency.
  3. Engage with internal teams and stakeholders to gather, validate, and refine proposal content.
  4. Provide strategic guidance on proposal framing and approach based on analysis of requirements.
  5. Maintain strong working relationships with government stakeholders, procurement officers, and industry partners.
  6. Stay informed of sector developments and trends to shape the institute’s response positioning and alignment.

Skills and Experience:

  1. Demonstrated experience in preparing successful tenders, proposals, or funding submissions.
  2. High-level written communication and editorial skills.
  3. Sound understanding of ACT and Commonwealth Government procurement, funding, and contracting frameworks.
  4. Ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines under pressure.
  5. Commitment to the ACT Public Service Values and Signature Behaviours.

Qualifications: Relevant qualifications or equivalent demonstrated experience in bid or tender writing, business development, or strategic communications.
