Talent International is currently recruiting a Sourcing Specialist (Procurement) (Grade 6) x 5 to work for the NSW Government, based in Sydney. The position is a 3-month contract role with the possibility of extension, paying between $55 to $65/hr plus Super.

8 hours per day/ 38 hours per week

This is a fantastic chance to join a high-performing procurement function, where you’ll play a key role in delivering sourcing activities while supporting business stakeholders across a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end sourcing activities including RFQs/RFPs.
  • Draft and support contract documentation.
  • Process purchase orders (POs) accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide procurement advice to internal stakeholders.
  • Work across systems such as ARIBA, Beeline, Guided Buying.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Procurement Services, and Centres of Excellence.
  • Support process improvements and service delivery excellence.

About You

You’re a proactive and customer-focused procurement professional who enjoys working in a dynamic environment.

To be successful, you will have:

  • Experience managing sourcing events (RFQ/RFP)
  • Exposure to contract drafting
  • Experience in procurement operations / PO processing
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Ability to manage high-volume work and competing priorities
  • A positive attitude with strong problem-solving skills

Nice to Have

  • Experience with ARIBA or SAP.
  • Previous NSW Government or public sector experience.
