The Opportunity

Join a high-performing technology team undergoing significant transformation and growth within the financial services sector.

This is a hands-on architecture role with a strong digital focus. You will help design and deliver modern, customer-centred solutions across mobile and web platforms, APIs, cloud services and enterprise integration’s.

Working across a broad and evolving technology landscape, you will shape how digital experiences and supporting systems connect end to end. You’ll partner with product, engineering, delivery and business teams to translate customer and organisational needs into scalable, secure and practical technology solutions.

About You

You are a collaborative architect who enjoys remaining close to delivery. You can move comfortably between high-level solution design and detailed technical conversations, while keeping customer and business outcomes at the centre of your decisions.

You communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and are confident influencing teams across product, design, engineering and the wider business. You will bring curiosity, sound judgement and a genuine interest in creating connected digital experiences that are intuitive, reliable and built for the future.

You will play an important role in:

• Defining solution architecture for customer-facing digital products and platforms
• Supporting the delivery of seamless mobile and web experiences
• Designing APIs and integration patterns that connect digital channels with complex enterprise systems
• Ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, resilient and aligned with broader technology strategy
• Providing hands-on technical guidance throughout the delivery lifecycle
• Helping establish architecture practices and frameworks in an evolving environment
• Balancing customer experience, commercial objectives and technical considerations

What You’ll Bring

• At least five years’ experience in solution architecture
• Strong experience designing modern digital platforms and customer-facing solutions
• Proven capability in API design, management and integration
• Experience integrating digital applications with complex enterprise or legacy systems
• Practical knowledge of React Native mobile applications and Angular web applications
• Experience with cloud platforms, ideally Microsoft Azure
• A strong understanding of microservices and modern architecture patterns
• Knowledge of security, privacy, performance and accessibility considerations across digital platforms
• A sound understanding of software development lifecycle best practices
• The ability to navigate ambiguity and operate effectively where frameworks and processes are still developing

Previous experience within financial services, insurance, wealth management is preferred.
