Solution Architect (Sharepoint Online / AI)
Talent is currently seeking an experienced Solution Architect to join a global engineering & infrastructure organisation based in Brisbane CBD. They have embarked on a multi-year technology transformation program that involves replacing their Project and Document Management systems with SharePoint Online and are looking for an Architect to assist with this, as well as the integration of AI tool-sets and functionalities with the proposed solution.
Contract Details:
- 6 month contract + 6 month extension
- Brisbane, CBD location- 2 days WFH per week.
- $1150 – $1250 per day inc. Super
Responsibilities:
- Support discovery and solution definition by leading workshops and clarifying business objectives, problem statements, key assumptions, and constraints with business and delivery stakeholders
- Design the end-to-end artefact and project data life-cycle – capture, classification, semantic enrichment, storage, retention, and disposal – ensuring artefacts remain fit for AI retrieval and use throughout their life-cycle and compliant with information management, audit and regulatory obligations.
- Provide architecture assurance across delivery including coordinating compliance, security, privacy, and architecture reviews, documenting outcomes, and driving actions to resolution
- Architect and govern end-to- end solutions for harvesting unstructured content across project documents, artefacts, SharePoint, Teams and file- based repositories.
Skills and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or demonstrated experience to meet the Key Skills listed.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in comparable role
- TOGAF or equivalent architecture framework experience
- Experience in designing and delivering AI-ready knowledge or content platform defining metadata standards, classification schemes, taxonomies, and content models to support AI retrieval and grounding
- Ability to design and implement ingestion and document harvesting, including connectors for SharePoint, Teams, and file systems, delta handling, versioning, and deduplication
- Understanding of retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG) and semantic retrieval design principles, including chunking approaches, semantic enrichment, embedding techniques, vector databases, hybrid search and ranking/re-ranking methods, and response grounding with citations
- Experience designing solutions with web-app development, SharePoint Online information architecture, records management, and enterprise content life-cycle projects is preferred
