Seeking a Solution Architect to lead the design of a compliant eDRMS architecture leveraging Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Purview, and selected third party tools.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the design of technology solutions, develop solution architectures that fit with the needs of the future strategic goals, ensure solutions align with the enterprise IT strategy and roadmaps.
  • Develop and ensure compliance with DIS guidelines, including alignment to organisational enterprise architecture. Define the principles, guidelines, standards, and solution patterns to ensure solution decisions are aligned with the enterprise’s future-state architecture vision.
  • Develop transition state and capability roadmaps aligned with the enterprise’s objectives, Create artefacts for managing the portfolio of ‘as-is’ and ‘to-be’ solutions to enable and drive targeted business decision making and outcomes

Mandatory requirements

  • Formal relevant qualification (Degree) in Computer Science, IT, software engineering or other relevant discipline and/or substantial relevant experience in Solution Architecture, systems analysis and solutions design preferably in a large/diverse organisation or government entity.
  • Strong research, analytical problem solving and evaluation skills with the capacity to examine complex problems and develop innovative strategies for their resolution to a diverse client base.
  • Strong business acumen including understanding of business operations and strategies and the ability to prepare professional business communication such as reports, presentations, projects, planning and policy documents.

Initial contract until EOFY + extensions
