Solution Architect
This leading university is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to deliver enterprise-wide, end-to-end application solutions within a complex higher education environment.
As part of the Architecture & Solutions team, you will lead the design and delivery of Salesforce-centric solutions, working closely with IT Services, business stakeholders, and senior leaders to support major strategic programs.
Key activities
- Perform the role of Lead architect for the Digital Preservation Program and Salesforce Education Cloud initiatives
- Develop conceptual, solution, and detailed application and integration designs, including architecture artefacts and options papers
- Support projects with concept briefs and early-stage planning documentation
- Provide architectural oversight and advisory services for Salesforce and related initiatives
- Collaborate closely with business and technical stakeholders to ensure solutions align with strategic objectives and future capabilities
- Ensure solutions are delivered in accordance with approved architectural designs
Skills and experience
- Solid experience and background designing and delivering enterprise application solutions
- Strong Salesforce core skills, including experience with Education Cloud (highly regarded)
- Proven experience developing Solution Architecture and Detailed Designs for enterprise applications
- Solid understanding of data, security, and integration architecture
- Experience working across a broad range of technologies, platforms, and deployment environments
- Ability to collaborate effectively with business units to support strategic initiatives
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Capability to work at varying levels of abstraction – from high-level logical architecture to detailed design
- Experience with Digital Preservation solutions (preferred)
