We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to support a large commercial aviation organisation delivering critical system upgrades, revenue optimisation initiatives, and pricing solutions. The role suits a generalist architect with experience across applications, API integrations, and data platforms, and the ability to translate commercial and revenue-driven requirements into scalable enterprise technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end solution design across application, integration, and data layers

  • Design and oversee API-based integrations between internal and external systems

  • Support system upgrades and platform modernisation initiatives

  • Contribute to revenue optimisation and pricing solutions, ensuring scalability and performance

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate commercial requirements into robust technical designs

  • Produce high-quality architecture artefacts, including solution designs, diagrams, and integration patterns

  • Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards, security, and governance requirements

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Solution Architect in large, complex organisations

  • Strong background in application architecture, API design, and data platforms

  • Experience working on revenue-driven systems such as pricing, yield management, optimisation, or monetisation platforms (highly regarded)

  • Ability to balance commercial objectives with technical excellence

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills

  • Experience in aviation, transport, or similarly regulated large-scale environments is advantageous
