Position Overview:

This is a key role supporting a range of classified initiatives within a secure environment. Rather than requiring deep specialisation in security, the position calls for a seasoned Solution Architect with broad telecommunications experience, particularly with enterprise platforms such as ServiceNow and the ability to work across integration, uplift, and transformation projects within classified networks. The ideal candidate will confidently navigate the telco landscape, contribute to enterprise architecture decisions, and collaborate effectively with existing security architects and stakeholders in secure Defence environments.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to architecture design and implementation across a variety of telco-related initiatives
  • Act as a key architectural contributor within classified Defence environments (e.g. DISP-L1), in collaboration with existing security architects
  • Provide subject matter expertise around key platforms such as ServiceNow, and support integration and optimisation efforts
  • Support transformation initiatives involving legacy rationalisation, systems integration, and platform modernisation
  • Ensure architectural outputs align with enterprise objectives and operate effectively within secure environments
  • Engage cross-functional teams to drive progress and resolve architectural challenges

What They’re Looking For:

  • NV1 clearance is a hard requirement
  • Broad experience in the telecommunications sector, ideally across enterprise architecture and systems integration
  • Strong familiarity with ServiceNow as a core application platform, particularly within complex enterprise environments
  • Previous exposure to secure Defence environments (e.g. DISC)
  • Able to contribute effectively without needing to lead the security agenda-security-specific EAs and SAs are already in place
  • Collaborative, adaptable, and confident working within large-scale programs involving multiple moving parts
  • Action-oriented mindset and capable of driving outcomes within classified settings

  • A well-rounded Solution Architect with a strong telco background and experience in enterprise environments
  • Brings confidence and capability working within secure, classified Defence contexts, without needing deep cyber/security specialisation
  • Experienced in working with ServiceNow and supporting enterprise transformation programs
  • Strong communicator who can liaise effectively with architecture, operations, and project stakeholders in a high-trust environment
