Solution Architect

• 12 months contract + 12-month extension
  
• Canberra based – Onsite role only
  
• Must have NV1 security clearance

Overview of the Position
We are seeking a highly experienced Solution Architect for our federal government client to support an Electronic Security Systems Enhancements Program. This role is critical in ensuring the successful delivery of the program and its associated projects, aligning with broader objectives and outcomes.

Your duties will include:

• Produce, maintain, and present effective design and solution architecture artefacts, including functional and non-functional requirements, design descriptions, and options papers.
• Manage complex implementation and testing activities in accordance with maintenance/change windows.
• Maintain relationships and act as a liaison between relevant stakeholders.
• Work with the Enterprise Architecture team to ensure alignment with target architecture and technologies.

Skills and Experience Required

• Demonstrated experience supporting complex projects across multiple technology domains, including software development and ICT infrastructure.
• Demonstrated proficiency in stakeholder management and negotiation, including the ability to engage effectively at all levels of an organisation, develop professional networks, and build strong working relationships.
• Experience working with electronic security systems, including but not limited to CCTV, EACS, and PSIM technologies.
• Extensive experience in preparing and presenting solution artifacts including design documentation and options papers
