
Software Engineer
- 12 months with a 12-month extension option.
- ACT, NSW, NT, QLD, SA, TAS, VIC, WA (Hybrid working arrangements available, with a minimum of 3 days per week in the office).
- Ability to obtain NV1 clearance.

As a Software Engineer Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing cutting-edge systems that meet high standards of security, accessibility, and functionality.
Your duties will include:
- Designing and implementing software and CI/CD pipelines, including Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and containerised applications for Kubernetes.
- Developing and integrating new systems and applications while adhering to best practices and architectural principles.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Business Analysts, Project Leads, and IT teams, to ensure solutions are fit for purpose.
- Actively participating in code reviews to maintain coding quality and standards.
- Ensuring software meets security and accessibility standards, including WCAG 2.1 compliance.
- Documenting all design and development work to ensure transparency and maintainability.
Skills and experience we are looking for:
- Proven experience building complex APIs using languages such as Golang and JavaScript/TypeScript, with knowledge of REST and GraphQL.
- Strong familiarity with AWS Cloud infrastructure and Infrastructure as Code, ideally using Terraform.
- Expertise in building containerised applications for Kubernetes using Docker and Helm.
- Experience developing accessible web applications using React and TypeScript.
- Proficiency in DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and tools like GitHub/GitLab, Artifactory, and HashiCorp Vault.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards for web applications, such as WCAG 2.1.
