Our Client
Our client is a statutory agency responsible for the management and coordination of the supply of blood, blood products and blood services in Australia. Through their collaboration with suppliers and stakeholders, as well as careful planning, assessment and budgeting, our client has a twenty-year track record of ensuring the safe, uninterrupted supply of blood and blood products for Australians in need.
The Role
Are you a Senior Software Developer looking to make a meaningful impact in a forward-thinking and dynamic environment? This role offers the opportunity to contribute to critical national health sector systems, working with senior stakeholders to deliver innovative software solutions that drive operational excellence.
Your duties will include:
- Designing and developing effective software solutions using best practice methods to meet business needs
- Contributing to the development of Blood Sector Systems, including smartphone applications
- Performing analysis, maintenance, and remediation of existing systems, while supporting automation initiatives
- Integrating software across multiple platforms and environments within the national health sector
- Building effective relationships and negotiating outcomes with internal and external stakeholders
- Supporting and maintaining Blood Sector Systems, while improving development practices and security in line with the Information Security Manual (ISM)
Skills and Experience we are looking for:
- Demonstrated technical competence in the specified tech stack, with a strong understanding of agile methodologies
- Proven experience in a similar role, delivering on intended results and outcomes
- Capacity and availability to undertake the role, with the ability to develop and contribute to innovative solutions
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve issues and involve others as appropriate
- Relevant certifications or qualifications (desirable)
- Ability to provide a minimum of two referees for reference checks
